Hi Yaya, Most of the information I gathered about these two places came from the Lonely Planet guide and recommendations from some of my Indonesian coworkers. I really wanted to see some famous architectural sites and learns more about the history, and both Borobudur and Prambanan really were beautiful and fascinating. Good luck with your studies.

Informative Semarang
Hello Hannah, I'm Nani from KL. I'll be coming to Semarang for work this weekend and for the next 2 months. Kinda excited and thrilled too of not knowing what s gonna be like overthere. This is a very nice, well-written article. Makes one want to take a trip to the Oregon coast ASAP! Next time you are in Washington, you might try a trip to La Push. You will enjoy hiking the beaches there, from First Beach on down to Kalaloch.
