Sounds amazing Laura,
I got home from the hospital and read all of your journals in one sitting. Sounds like you are having an amazing time, and the photographs are absolutely gorgeous. I wish I was in Guatemala right now!! I am so happy that you are having such a great time. I can't wait till you get back, so I can see all your pictures and hear all your stories.Love,Melissa
Thanks for the tour of your house and pics of your host family. Sounds like you are enjoying your visit. We spent last night at a retirement party for Larry Quinn with your folks and Aunt Rosie. It was fun and we caught up with some of your phone conversation with your Mom. They are proud of you but can't wait for you to be home, parents always miss their kids! Stay well, have fun and come home soon. Love, Aunt Becky
You are amazing! Laura-I love your colorful description of people, places, experiences! You are amazing, and courageous and it is admirable how you are able stretch your limits with such ease and grace. I'm a better person for knowing you and lucky to have you as a friend :)
Send me and Mar a postcard if you have time!

Yer sooo cool.... Acutally, when I think about where you are, 'cool' probably isn't the case!!! What a wonderful experience you're having, how can we 'minor wanderers' back here at home not be impressed and a little envious? And an artist, too? Your pictures are just lovely....and not only that, you do murals, too.?! I'll bet your time seems to already feel too short....make the most of it, Girl. (Why would I think you wouldn't?) Keep sending us pix and a blog or two....we're waiting with anticipation! Love and be safe. Aunt Rosie :-)
Chulisimo Laura,
You freaking rock. I echo Kristine in saying that you are so strong and amazing. I'm so happy for you that you are having a great time. Keep telling us stories--I just love it!
Peace y tenga suerte caminando por las calles!
Girl - I hope you know how strong you are sista. You set your mind to something and then you go out and do it. Be proud that you're making a difference, that you didn't sit at home talking about Guatamala are actually achieving all the goals you set for yourself. It's a bit deal and I hope your as proud of yourself as your friends and family are of you. Be safe and have fun. I'll keep enjoying your adventures.
Wow... Laura, Antigua looks so beautiful and it sounds like the trip is going really well so far. Good luck tomorrow meeting your Spanish teacher and moving from Spanglish to full-fledged Spanish muy rapido! I look forward to reading about your adventures...
Will you ever stop??? Dearest Laura. Once more ou surprise me. In Guatemala !!! That's far away from Granada. I hope you have a wonderful tryp, make a lot of photos and, of course post them in this blog. Next time I go to "Bohemia" I will drink a "Café Vienés" for you.

You Go Girl...... Laura, Laura, Laura, you've grown up way toooo fast....how envious I am of your style!! This is a fabulous avenue for those of us here at home waiting for the next word and venture. I should have Jody use it to keep track of her!!!! I should use it so that Richard would automatically know where I am (fullfilling one of his infamous Mom complaints!!--Tsk-Tsk!) Well, Missy, probably won't get to see you before you leave so here is my wish and prayer for your quest for adventure and even more for your safety--Love you. Aunt Rosie

Well, I'm supposed to talk about myself a little bit in this profile so here's a small blurb about who I am and what I've done.
