Boob grab Is that a thing ... when in Verona? Hope you found a good place for dinner that didn't cost too many Euros. You don't want to come back from Italy saying the food was bad!
Great memories You are MAKING them and I am reliving them! Thanks! But I do want to know how you got the hotel named for Ange? Is he already famous over there?
Yum! You will have to share those recipes. Pics are beautiful. I especially like the one of the narrow walkway with the plants between the building and Isola Bella.
Pisa Showed Mom some of your pictures the other day and she said ya'll should go back to Pisa and get a picture of you both standing in front of it while leaning sideways LOL!
Loving the posts! Mom & Dad -- I am really enjoying the posts and the photos. Keep them coming. I am learning a lot from the info you are sharing. Can't wait to read and see more! Hope you were finally able to get some R&R. Much love from the Budasi's in Guam. What will you be doing to celebrate Dad's bday?
Gorgeous! Dear Budazz,
What a trip! The countryside is beautiful and the churches and art are magnificent. I didn't realize you could enlarge the pix so thanks for that tip. Loving your trip as much as you are!
Footwear How are Dad's feet? Is it your footwear like Tree asked or is it just your feet aren't used to all the walking? Otherwise, all looks fun and beautiful! Glad you saw the original David. I missed out on that. I was in awe like that when I saw the Sistine Chapel. Enjoy the R & R and go buy some nice Italian walking shoes! :)
Footwear Are you wearing the proper footwear for walking?? Flip-flops not good. Scenery is beautiful. So how does that guy in the orange do that trick? Fishing wire? Where are you now?
Blog Dear Budazz,
It all looked so great - until I got to Andrea's feet. Hope they recover quickly. I loved Lake Maggiore - it will be just the place for some R&R.
Whew! No wonder you're tired! The pix are spectacular and show just how much ground you covered. I am sure you are all rested up and loving
Florence. Much more leisurely pace and so beautiful! Enjoy... And keep these great updates coming please.
whew I feel tired myself just looking at all you did here. Thanks for taking the time to post all this for all of us who are back here waiting to "travel" with you. God bless
Pope sighting! That's too bad about the fast pace, but sounds like you saw a lot in one day. Too bad you couldn't go inside the Basilica. If you go to Milan, you should definitely get inside the Duomo. Spectacular. Light a candle. I went inside churches all over the place. That photo of you in front of the Trevi Fountain...you were probably facing one of the hotels I stayed at when I was in Rome. Lots of activity at night.
Ciao!
Hello, I have just spent the last month on Guam and Ypao Beach is one of my favorite spots my husband and I regularly go out and snorkel around 5:00 and stay until the sun sets which of course is always spectacular. I also like to snorkel at Ritidian Point at the Wildlife Refuge. Today I am off to climb Mount Lam Lam...a bit ambitious, but it is my last weekend here and I want to do something memorable. I enjoyed your pics and can completely identify with you.
Blizzard Response Hi Andrea,
You are totally right. The blizzard puts everything in perspective. We forget about our perceived problems and just help people that need it. Sorry it does'nt last, but at least we see humanity still exists.
The landscape is beautiful. The roads; however, were another story.
Enjoy your sunshine. Hope everything is okay back at your house.
Looking forward to your return.
Beautiful! Dear Budasis,
I actually teared up when I saw the recent storms in IL because of the poor souls back there. Especially Merrilee's mom and Gretchen's mom - Jayne is 89 this month and Aunt Rita was 96 last month. Yikes! But it didn't seem to bother you two at all - ha ha! The beach looks magnificent - and so do you two.
I have started listening to books on tape rather than reading hard copies. I download books from the library free and LOVE it. I can listen while I garden, do the laundry, empty the dishwasher, drive, etc. So I'm thinking how terrific it would be for you two tp be able to just gaze out at the view while you listen to a book without having to keep looking up and down!!
Did I send you a copy of my Christmas letter? I was going to mail my usual "hard copy" but knew you were not in IL. I think I did e-mail it to you but cannot remember. Let me know if you did not get it.
I also ended up with two e-mail addresses for you - again! - so please let me know the preferred one and I'll delete the other.
Blessings,
Lynne Buckie Baker

Nice update Dear Budasis,
So good to hear from you. It must be terrific to have such a long and leisurely visit. The kids and grands must be thrilled to have you! Ain't retirement grand?!
Belated Happy Holidays! The coast has obvciously recovered beautifully from the torments of war..& as you might suspect, looks very much like the East coast of Korea: green & semi-tropical. Happy Birthday, Andrea! Love you guys! Thanks so much for sharing your travels!
Andrea, this was great. Thank you so much for sharing part of your Christmas with me. It is wonderful that you and Angelo are able to be there to celebrate the holidays. It will be hard for you to leave. Enjoy the rest of your time over there.
