Looks wonderful! Hi Steers,
Looks like you had a wonderful time in Thailand! We have such fond memories of our time there, glad you got to experience it. What is Gene up to now? You all look great! Hope to see you in May!
Mary
great update Hi guys. I felt like I was there with you. That was a great little log of your daily life in Moscow. How many rubles do you get for a dollar? Hailey is close to panic mode preparing for SAT testing and starting to figure out where to go to college. Maxx is playing Little League at Riddle Field (remember those days Brad?). He is playing well and is doing some pitching (nervous time for the parents!). Some kids have spring break this week and Main Beach Laguna looked like it was August 1st. It kind of felt like summer with perfect weather (75 degrees and not a cloud in the sky) but the water is still chilly. Brad, you missed a couple of good volleyball games this weekend (Hans Baumann is still playing at 74 years old). Ronny is all hot to trot with his new girlfriend. Thanks for the update. Scotty
thanks for the update Riley looks good and healthy and has a nice thick coat, she was a bit too skinny in Texas, glad to hear she has friends too, saw Besty in Calif. and sounds like you 3 are making the most of your new city and having fun, thanks for the update, and don't slip on that ice. Hope to see you in Calif. again soon. Juls
update Hi Brad and Betsey! Thanks for the indepth account of your days in Moscow. It's great to go to Moscow through you! It would be more fun to actually go, but I don't see that in the cards. You guys sound happy in your new surroundings. I'm not surprised! I bet you will be happy to see true spring!! We will too! Take care you guys are in our thoughts! Love Gaye :o)
Happy New Year! This has been so fun to see your great photos and hear about such an exciting new life for you both! I would never be able to come in the winter due to "hat hair"... but what a nice break from the oppressive summers in Houston. Get the vodka and the guest room ready!!!

From Kauai Betsy and Brad - It's so amazing to see your snowy scenery from our tropical island. What a great adventure. We received a card from our friends the Katyryniukks (Cathy was a high school classmate of Rick's on Oahu) and it looks like they are in Moscow, too. Do you know them? They have bounced from China to Egypt and now to Moscow. All is well here. Both girls were here for the holidays. A highlight was our family Christmas gift. Rick chartered a helicopter and we all spent a day on the privately owned island of Niihau - it was pristine and magical. Much love, Joan
Happy Anniversay, a bit late Wow, 30 years, what a great celebration, congrats and what a nice gesture from Tom and Tanya, a 30 year old bottle of Cognac. Sounds like Carly had a great experience, we can't wait to come visit ourselves. Love the pictures, keep them coming. Julie H.
Happy Holidays and Happy Anniversary It was great to hear from you guys. I have to admit that I am jealous of your adventures. Although challenging at times, I am sure you will have many experiences that you will never forget. It must be a major change learning that you cannot drive anywhere you want at a moment's notice.
All is well for the McCarter's back home. I am working on getting Ronny McElhany to join me for a trip to see you guys in Moscow. He is up for it! I will keep you posted.
So good to see your smiling faces! Hi Guys,
So good to get the news and what news! It sounds like your having a fantastic time and really taking advantage of what Russia has to offer.
I got some photos from Dinia and saw you both with the Lewis', tell them HI for me! Keep warm and when are you going to get a fur coat? Looks like you might need it!
Love ya, Mary

What a wonderful experience. I bet Carly was sorry she couldn't join the three of you. Enjoy! Give us a call when you're back in town.
