Hello from a stunning KOh Tao! Arrived yesterday from Koh pangan where we had our half moon party! Was a great night with lots of neon pant and UV lights met an Emirates steward and stewardess who were very entertaining and made us all want to drop oout of uni to become airliners! The party was in the jungle and was huge!! although we didnt make it to sunrise which many do we gave it a good attempt! Perhaps becasue pf that we able to make it to our ferry the next day to koh tao. KOh tao is stunning alot smaller than the other islands and famous for diving and snorkling, tomorrow we plan to go on a boat trip to shark island that ironiquely has no sharks! HEllo from a very sunny KOh Pangan, We arrived 2 days ago with a hellish all day journey starting at 8 am a tiny speed boat then an old dodgy mini bus, a slightly younger mini bus, (then a three hour wait in the absolute middle of now where)a coach then a ferry then a truck we arrived! Staying at a very nice and very cheap hostel/hotel 4 pounds a night for the room! Nice and clean a very nice pool. The weather has finally picked up have spent the last two days sun bathing and swimming and not alot else! We're here for 5 nights our final night being the half moon party which is a big party on the beach with lots of neon paint. From here on to Koh tao which is suppose ... read more

Our last full day on Phi Phi was spent on a bit of a party boat, was very fun lots of snorkling, swimming and dancing. Arrived yesterday in Railay beach, were sad to leave Phi Phi and sophs friend and her boyfriend by Railey is stunning/ Arrived by bopat then had t be ferried across the shallow water by long boat. Soph managed to fall into the sea with her bag but thankfullly the phone etc are fine! Raillay is absolutely tiny but with massive mountains either side absolutely spectacular with a nice beach on the west side ( were obvioulsy staying on the east cheap side but still have a pool!) plan is to stay for a couple of days then head over to Koh pangyan to the half moon party then up to Koh ... read more

Sorry for such a long delay interent isnt great here! SInce the last post our last full day in Pai we spent at a hot springs whihc was very cool 80 degrees in parts and mixed with river water to make pools to bathe in, our final morning e paid to use a hotels pool for a little luxury! 3 and a half hour bus back to Chang Mai dinner then flew down to Phuket, landing at 1 am and a ferry at 8 am our student bank accounts encouraged us to spend a night in the airport ( i dont think soph will ever be the same again!) We are now in Pai forgot to mention as well we have completely spoilt ourselves with massage, body scrub and facials so far ... in total 18 pounds!! not too shabby. 3 and a half hour bus up mountains today to reach pai met an Australian family from Tazmania who entertained us most the way. First activity elephant treking this is what amy was most looking forward to and it didnt disappoint! Was a little scary to start as we were sat directly on the elephants back no seats all three of us on one more elephant had an hour trek through the jungle then on to the river. Hello everyone! Thought a blog would be the easiest way to keep you all updated!! Landed in bangkok at 630 pm on tes got cab straight to hostel, surprisingly nice considering 4 punds a night! Went straight for dinner and cocktailsmet up with a few boys from uni which was good fun... went to bed 5am!! Woke up 1pm fpollowing day (oops).Managed to go to the reclining Budha and temple ( token bit of culture). Then had a made rush for train station when we reliased the train was 30mins earlier than expected! naturally the train then left an hour late any way. Over night train to Chang mai in the north was good fun met a man from belgium who was very entertaining, slept awfully definately not yet overjet lag! 15 hours later we arrived ... read more
