hmmm not adorable. the wallabye...adorable. jenks...adorable. rex...not so much. but i'm intrigued that the flying fox can eat half it's body weight. too bad we don't retain the same powers when dining at cold stone.....
GBR and Trivia Hey AM, Glad to see your still alive and having fun!? I'm sitting with Sarah helping her on her GIS project and she says she would've been the one to kill you if you didn't go out on the reef. I actually love the beach and snorkling albeit some sort of covering does help. Not to keep me from getting stung but to keep my fat white butt from being exposed to others. It makes their trip more enjoyable. I wish is was able to be there with you. Be careful and keep informing us on your journeys. Have fun. Craig
Huh. So there are no tornado-like swirls under the Tasmania devils? Very disappointing...
Also, I plugged the phrase "easily crunch through the leg of kangaroo" into Google and your page is most definitely the only page on the ENTIRE web featuring that combination of words. ARGH!
crocodile hunter.... I felt you retained so much from your farm safari that I was reading the cliffs notes of an episode from Animal Planet.
let me know when the next installment is released :)
Sounds amazing! Hey AML - it sounds like that was a great day! I, too, am not a big beach person, but this entry just might be the inspiration to give it a better try.
All is well here. With Jon and Kevin, we tied for third at trivia last week (lost it on the tie breaker - what is the average starting salary in MLB? We said 1.2 million, it was 2.5 million and the other team was closer). Weather is getting hot, which means it is time for Sarah to return from winter exile : )
Keep the entrie coming! --kw
Water, isn't it splendid? Well that sounded fun....and more importantly, interesting :)
It's times like these that a nice waterproof camera would be a tad handy dandy, ey?
Stupa-fied Here I am reading and intoxicating myself with this park you were at that had these exotic structures...and then the last picture with the stupa.....had me laughing....hopefully you're ok now to bike some more life out of ya :)
Been a while. I haven't been back since April. And so, I thought I would catch up on my reading...and the visuals. So far, this food blog entry was my favorite, I think it appeals to my passion for eating, but I can't say for sure :) Although the worms are another story. I do keep the oyster sauce, fish sauce, and shrimp paste on hand at my house...you'll have to stop by in MA and show me some authentic thai skills!
Aren't those the same apes they have in Gibraltor? Maaaannnnn, the ones there are these hateful, thieving, bastard monkys! Maybe they should ship them all back to whence they originate.
Very Cool Ok, so I will admit, with all this monkey talk, I'm kind of curious about their poo -- is it everywhere?? If they were dogs and had that kind of freedom, everyone would be constantly stepping in it : ). How different, neat, and interesting. Happy travels -- kw
Here I thought getting lucky was.....heh :) Well I was just stopping by again....always fascincated of course....looking forward to the next blog-stop....Photos are great!
dried lizard on a stick, huh? kinda makes the bethesda cafe look gourmet. sounds like you're having an amazing time. i will live vicariously thru you since my traveling days are over for a while. take care :)
my mark Just wanted to say...enjoying your travel blog....and you needed to know that :) Hope you're having fun, one of these days I'll have to get one of those crazy passport thingamabobs :) Until then, will live vicariously through your blog....ttys, and let me know if there is anything you need...
Yea Crabs! I finished strong there the night before I left and almost missed my flight as a result. I'm all for seeing bars of the world, so hopefully the photo AFTER the next will be some kind of pub. Be safe!
Clever Hey AML - very clever to link the country flag to some entries, should they ever come up in trivia, we will be experts! Hong Kong sounds intriguing -- pictures of dim sum, walkways, anything? Look forward to more : ) -- kw
You go girl! Well the adventure begins. Glad to hear you are on your way. Hope you and Sarah enjoyed Colombia. Wish I was there. I'll check this often to see where your off to next, who knows as much as I travel, maybe we can link up in some exotic location. Be careful and we'll try to hold down the fort for Team Savvy.
Peace, Craig
I'll be using this space as a record for my travels over the next year. I always say I will remember where I've gone and what I've seen but forget after a year. I hope this will be a lasting memory. It will also let friends and family know I'm still alive and seeing something interesting. ... full info
