it's smooth
yes very smooth except where the seams are. Some day I will have a large bathroom tiled with thin platinum plates. Just wait and see

empty woods are good for many things. i used to walk into the everglades. it was true wilderness 100 yards from the road. the trails weren't well marked and i would panic and sprint back. it was like playing chicken!

Alex loves the monkeys. Are they all over the place or just a few areas? Beautiful pics.

Flights available
Actually, there is a regular daily air service to Kangaroo Island and has been for many decades. It can be very convenient for travellers flying to/from Adelaide to connect with the local flights, avoiding unnecessary stays in yet another city.

Bungee Jumping
I would not try the bungee jumping because of Murphy's Law. I would love to go Glacier hiking. The photos are great.

During Your Travels
Hi there. I am enjoying your travels. Not sure I'd travel the same places. I do like Arabic food. Would you tell us what you're eating and phonetically spell its names. Is it possible for you to get me some safron if it isn't too too expensive. Really enjoy the photos.

Ya, ya, Casa Blanca sucks, but let's hear about Spain! Though the goat thing is very cool. Aren't you getting close to going home?

I'm leaving Morocco Tomorrow
Hi. Have had a quick look at the blog - sorry if my joining you for a drink in Taroudannt was cramping your style and bad for business. Hope things have picked up since I went off to Essaouira!!! Sorry I didn't pick up the message in Marrakesh - would have been good to meet up. Good luck with the rest of the travels

ins(h)allah
If there are two women in a bar would that negate the prostitute premise (ie. we'd cancel each other out)....or would we create a mini-brothel? Good work on finding the word for bar!

Not a Pimp
If a male and I went in for a drink, I can't guess what they would think. It wouldn't matter because no one would bother me then.

I was going to leave something witty in Arabic, but the characters freaked out the comment page. The gist was: I was drunk and forgot to sign the Guinness comment, but figured you'd figure it out.

Allah willing...
Allah willing, the Arabic language will fall upon you not unlike the words of the Koran did to Muhamad (PBUH).

How do you spell Guinness? Not that it would matter as you couldn't have one anyone. The one in my hand is quite tasty by the way! If you were with a male could you drink? Or would that make him your pimp?

Well, it's probably just as well that you were too far away from the mountain lion for a decent picture as they are higher on the food chain than you. Still a great photo! Wild turkys are yummy! (and lower on the food chain) Have you tried geocaching?
