Narrow sidewalks or staggering? Driving in the rain in the mountains was not bad, except I did not get to enjoy the scenery. The van was also manual transmission, which I hadn't driven since my 20's, so that took time to adjust to. I also drove into Zagreb and that was an experience! You could not really tell which lanes went which direction and you'd think it was a one way street, but it was 2 way, people just parked in the same direction on both sides of the street. We managed tho with only a few honks and shaking heads from the locals :) As for the streets being too narrow, I really think Kristie just couldn't walk a straight line!
alls well Hi Jane
I am trying again. I submitted a comment before and it did not go through. All is well here. Sam is getting duely spoiled. He rides with dad to get the paper everyday. Sam and dad will both probably miss that routine. Glad you are having a good time. See you soon.
How did Jane's driving go? I wanted to hear how Jane did driving in the mountains in the rain? And how could a sidewalk be too narrow to play hopscotch? It does sound like you are all doing well in the wine tasting (smile)
Sounds like you're all having a wonderful time. Enjoy the boat!
sounds wonderful THis is so much fun to follow your trip!
All is wellj here. Janey says HI

an undergarment Hello ladies!
How ya'll doin'? Glad you had a nice time in Montenegro. Men are very handsome here, aren't they? hehe
Hope enjoyed your stay in Hippo Hostel and your ride to Dubrovnik was pleasant. I apologize on behalf of the cab company; I hope you got to the bus station on time.
While I was cleaning your room this morning, I came across a lady's undergarment that was left on the door that lead to the outdoor patio. What would you like us to do with it? Maybe mail to ya? Send it to ya on the next bus to Dubrovnik?
I just finished my shift, so I will catch with you later.

HOT Hi Jane and group! Sounds like you are having a good time. All is good in Wisconsin. We are having record breaking heat...in the 90s this week. Jane - Sam is doing well! Julie
Dubrovnik scenery Regarding the comments about handsome men...our taxi driver in Dubrovnik 3 or 4 years ago just might have been the most handsome man I've ever seen. Enjoy!
Sounds like fun Jane (and all the rest of the group), it sounds like you're having a grand time. I'm curious -- lots about food and drink and relatively little about hiking and backpacking? A wise travel guide once taught us to say and think "remember, it's all part of the experience" -- hope you're not having too many events that require that mantra.
This is sooo neat! I sure do wish I could be there with you Eileen. But I have to say, this is a pretty fun substitute.
Sounds like some good 'carrying on" is already happening. good for you guys.
Janey is GREAT!!!! We went swimming this morning. She is doing just fine. And so am I for that matter.
Keep in touch.
Love you, Diane

But that prompted me to subscribe to your blog, so I'm all ready to receive ALL your posts! Have a wonderful time, you are so much more adventurous than I am and I'm sure you'll have the time of your life.
