Having lived in SE Asia in 2012 (Bangkok) and hearing stories of tubing from friends for years, I was dying to get to Laos! Being a bit of a grandma 26 year old, I felt far more inclined to head to Luang Prabang over Vang Vieng. Luang Prabang is wihout a doubt one of the most beautiful places I have ever visited...really loved this trip!
