Leaving the UK for the first time, I was understandably nervous. Having never flown before, my heart was in my throat as the plane started down the runway, and I gripped the hand of my new friend, Caitlin, tightly in my own. At the beginning of that very first flight, I never would have thought that I would be so deeply enamoured with the experience.
