Will Dizon - Wilfredo Dizon

Wilfredo Dizon I am ancestrally from Palawan, from municipality of Brooke's Point, of the Setias clan. I have composed several pieces for the island's local clientele, including Alcalde Jun Benedito and Kagawad Bert Aboig. I was also responsible for the official jingle of the Kaniog'n Festival, the official municipality celebration, of the same locale.

I was also commissioned to travel across the municipality to its tourist destinations. I have compiled photographs of places in Brooke's Point and a layout of a tourist brochure has also been accomplished.

I am now pursuing a venture centrally involving Palawan as a tourist destination.

I have recently been appointed General Manager of our newly accredited travel concierge, Isla Palawano.

Isla Palawano primarily deals with land arrangements within the province of Palawan. As of current, we have trips to the Underground River, Honda Bay and Estrella Falls ready for public consumption. We also offer comprehensive city tours for a thorough experience of the provincial capital, Puerto Princesa. Our agency is also ready to facilitate trips from as far south as Rio Tuba and Bataraza to the Northern islands of Coron and Buswanga. Our agency boldly envisions to provide a complete and encompassing Palawano experience for those who dare to covet it.

Isla Palawano partners with the most cost-effective providers of accomodations, refreshment, food, travel insurance and tour guiding that the province has to boast. Isla Palawan harbors its own fleet of passenger vehicles to suit the needs of the trips it offers. Our agency is staffed with service oriented personnel who have passed our qualifications with respect to protocol courtesy, knowledge of the way of the land, and mastery of the universal tongue. At Isla Palawano, we know what were doing as long as we know what you want.

All my life I have been confined to its boundaries. I have traveled Luzon well - going as far north as Vigan and as deep south as Legazpi, Albay (where perfect-coned Mayon is). I spent college in the local summer capital, Baguio. I know very well how the bus rides go that they have ingrained a certain form of solace for me. I faintly recall Adams' metaphors [View Full Entry]

I've had the privilege of going around my town-by-ancestry Brooke's Point (South Palawan) in 2006 for a photography / design job for its town mayor. The task was to visit all of the town's tourist spots and create a brochure from the resultants. I was not able to post most of the pictures immediately. Sadly it has taken me several years and a couple of jobs to get them all on the net. I'll be using shots off the town market to get the ball rolling. I will be posting the pictures and my recollection (as dim as they now are) [View Full Entry]
