Ocean Road Hannah, how wonderful that you got to part of this well known hike along the cliffs!! I was sitting in the physical therapy office reading a magazine and saw an article about women walking tours to see the twelve Apostles in Austrailia!! It was a mere 4000 dollars to join the gals and I thought " maybe, Hannah can show me this fab hike someday!!!" So cool that you got there, great choice!! The article said you should go with a guide because of the snakes in the grass, were they a bother?? Love Mom

WHAT??? Hannah!!??? I have to go to Sweden! Elevator parties? People dressed up as 'meece? mooses? a moose?' whatever. The shopping carts are reason enough to go there. Walking one of those rolling ground baskets around could keep me entertained and laughing for weeks! I am so glad you are having fun! I want to go there!
Also, when I told my boss at work I was going to Uppsala, he screamed and said I had to see that ship, which I am going to guess is the one you just went to see that made you queasy just looking at it. Sounds fun.
Anyway! I love you be safe!

paris party lifestyle sucks! You got that right, too much nightlife will suck the life out of you, glad to hear you will be making a break for new days of tranquility, to enjoy the scenery and some peaceful reflective moments.....looking forward to the return of your creative writing, travel journals again, really enjoyed your descriptions of the islands and thoughtful observations.........call us when you reach your next destination.........
west coast girls are hip!! Naxos sounds so wonderful, I would love to be on a bus singing greek songs!! Glad to hear you are dispeling the myth of the O.C. representing california girls....used to be the beach boys stereotype to deal with.... , Northern California rules anyway, from one previous OC girl....love mom
I am happy to see many foreign boys are trying to win you love. Your blogs make me want to leave Rohnert Park because this place is so boring. I had something to say but I forgot so I guess thats it.
I am not so proud to be American after this blog. Hey hannah,
I have been trying to read you blog but we have no internet at our house because we don't want to pay for it and its actually pretty nice to not have to rely on the computer to communicate. It sounds like you and Melissa are having an amazing time. I can't wait to go to Europe and travel. Well I hope you guys enjoy the rest of you trip I will try and read you blog more often.

you're getting me giddy i've been reading your travel blogs religiously, hannah and i'm getting so excited for my trip to europe. i'm making notes of the amazing places you're travelling through and hoping to add them to my itinerary. by the way, i'm expecting you to woo me with your italian when you get back. i can't wait till you get to greece! (i'm living through you right now if you can't tell)
i am so jealous of everything. of you in italy, of chickens, of hanging up underwear for all to see and mostly YOU GET TO SEE PAUL!!! i miss my little hanz.
peace in the valley AAhh, a true italian, so happy for you to find such peace in the valley, not sure about the pig though!! I love the picture of you and the chickens! It sounds beautiful there....nice to get out of the city!!!
Glass Hey Hannah,
It's fun (and funny) reading your observations about travel. Christine and Delphine were in Venice last October, a much less tour-ized time than now (and no my use of your invented word does not yet make it a real word in Websters; that would likely take about 100,000 uses, but it's a start).
Delphine also came back with a little colored glass picture frame. You can compare glass objects when you get back.
Now on to Americans - I'm afraid we must look stupid to Europeans because on the one hand our country is so powerful and influential in the world and yet seems to be so crassly, brazenly, mucking up things everywhere. So that's the burden of being a citizen of the 'evil empire.' Sad. When I traveled in Europe in the 70s there was no such 'bad vibe' about Americans. How times change!
ciao
Gary
I started this blog to keep my family and friends updated on my trip to Italy and Greece with my friend Melissa. I kept it going through my year of studying abroad in Uppsala, Sweden and the five months I worked in Melbourne, Australia. Now I'm off to Chungnam, South Korea to teach English at a middle school. This is where I will blather on about my daily life.
I have a serious case of wanderlust :)
