Soda water Hi Way,
I recommend you to drink a lot of tonic water, it has quinine. Quinine, until 1940, was used as a Malaria medicine. I don´t know how effective this is, but for me and my brother worked very well on the road, we did not get malaria in the whole trip.
Get better soon so you can tell us more stories!
All the best,
Tiazinha

I always had a small trips in the Brazil, but I really started to travel a lot when I went to China to work in 2007, so I started to plan to be a backpacker for about 2 years, to run the continents Asia, Africa and Eastern Europe, that is why I chose the year 2007 to start to share my travelling story, some tips and my photos.
