amazing
Kimberly: Talk about someone who manifests their life and lifestyle! I am so happy for you and impressed by how you take each experience by the *** and run with it. You are making the most out of life! I have to say for the first time I had a pang of jealousy. I am excited to read more! Have a great time. Lisa

gods are everywhere
It is amazing how everything does have to do with gods... The good luck, the bad.. the faults it is not even their fault, it is because the gods decided it...That is why they have no worries. How cool that you were there for the filming. I wonder if this will make ubud more popular ( I personally will be bummed). I hope you are starting to see the clarity amidst the insence smoke. I am glad you made your hotel switch and am meeting some people. Wayan was more than thrilled to see his family. They were smiling nonetheless. Most of the time they don't for pics. He stared at the picture for about 30 minutes. We are thinking about you and I am glad you are having a full Bali experience. Can't wait to reminice (ok don't know how to spell it) , and it will have to be over a drink. Sampa Jumpa! Lisa

New sights
Thank you again, Kim, for the visual. Just thinking about the flowers, especially the orchids, being placed around the room is a comforting thought. The motorbike ride to see the rice paddies would be positively delicious. I can imagine the lovely warm air blowing through your hair. Of course the shows with the silks, the colors, the building sculpture and the dancing would be such a thrill. Great thoughts. Norma

shrines
I love your pictures of the spirit house/shrines. You will find many of these box, shrines in Bali too. It is so great that the Thais can find simplicity and peace even in the hot city. I feel a calmness come over me when I visit this site. What a great way to document your trip. Have fun.

I feel the heat
Thanks for the great photos. I think partying with a bunch of women is the best. Drinking is more fun because there isn't competition. Anyway, sounds like you had fun. Can't wait to read about Bali.

love pai
hey Kim, Finally had time to sit down and view your blog. Nice job. I knew immediatley that you would be in the rice paddies on your scooter. Be safe wandering girl. Love the lotus pictures. Maybe you will run into that one guy that we met who was the pretty boy and then you met him another time you were back. Wondering if when you get to Chang Mai at the night market if you would consider picking up a couple of the silk purses that have the round handles. they have the little gold feet on the bottom . Black and also a brown one. My girl friends just go ga ga when I use them which I do frequently. Autumn is here and we have a some very cold nights. Need to get my fountain in. all for no. enjoy and be safe

Light on baggage - a good thing
Thank you for bringing back such great memories. I never tire of remembering our trip. There are so few times when we step away from our everyday life and tempt fate. Enjoy the ride.
