Markus, Here I am documenting my trip to Colombia with the entirely selfish reason of wanting to capture every memorable moment, so that I never forget. Besides a few family and friends, it hadn't occurred to me that a local could read my sentimental ramblings, and see how I fell in love with his town. I wish we could have stayed in Villa de Leyva longer. Thanks for your comment, and you are truly lucky to live in such a wonderful place. Can't wait to visit it again!
Fun sightseeing I'm so glad you are getting to see lots of "foreign" sights -- that is so very interesting and will give you tons of grand forever-memories. How is the Spanish progressing, Jessi? Habla Espanol mas y mas un dia? My sentence structure is often lacking -- perhaps you can teach me more Spanish when you return from your immersion into the language and culture. Can't wait to hear more about your adventures.
Love, Sandra
WoW!!!! Loved reading your comments on your trip! Sounds as though you both are having a great time.......Getting dark at 6:30 doesn't sound so good but it would probably appeal to Papa since he likes to go to bed early. I will be looking for your updates and can't wait to see all your pictures!
Love, Birdie
