The Ballesta Islands in Paracas are absolutely worth the trip! Try to find a guide to drive you around the sandstone dessert as well. It's really great. Also, try to stop in Huacachina (little oasisin Ica, which is not too far from Pisco, if I remember correctly). You can stay El Huacachinero, and go sand boarding. You won't be disappointed! My blog has some South America reviews, etc, on it, and we're always looking for travel photos, stories, etc, to share.
