Pure joy reading about your experiences Vanessa my love, I am literally moved to tears. Last year we were just sitting at dinner when you were inspired to pursue this idea, and to see it become a reality brings me so much joy. I look up to you, and I am constantly inspired by your sense of adventure and zest for life. You find beauty in simplicity, yet seek out opportunities to expand your own horizons. I know it is hard to put these experiences into words, but how blessed we all are to get to share in these experiences with your brilliant writings. We miss you more each day, but continue your journey and I can not wait to hear about your next adventure! I love you! ~Nic
Love and Peace Thank you Ness for sharing all of your life with us. We are so lucky to see your journey and I am so proud of you in so many ways many that cannot be described in words but in feelings. I love you and cannot wait for your return!
Patience I love what your talking about and experiencing! Reading your message I think about patience. To live your life in the moment requires you to accept every moment as it comes and try to get to know it as much as you can. Not thinking about the next moment. Not judging what is in your current environment or sensation but accepting it for what it is.... this is were i see beauty most often.
Thinking about your message sparks thought of an epiphany i had. There are two types of patience. The one we all know of.... waiting until a desired moment comes... and... one that we are not so aware of but more important. Once the moment is in front of you have the patience to sit with it and experience it.... for as "long" as it takes! Have the patience to distinguish the different colors of the leaves or to hear what makes someones voice unique. try not to rush off. this is living in the moment! if we can stop the first type of patience and accept EVERY moment with the second type of patience we may step into the current of life... and it will take us were we need to go.
Travel patiently. love.
re-patience Beautifully put Alexander! I love your influential idea to have the patience to sit with it ♥ thank you so much for your contribution and participation! I had not thought of that and am so greatful you brought it up because I believe you are right on target! Thank you!!
:) I am so honored to have had you as a life long friend! Thank you for sharing your journey....and I sure hope you are ready for round TWO!!!! Cause I got a bug now....and I want you with me!!! Love you!!!
Writing Coming from a family of "writers" as I do, the only words of advice I have are those which was passed to me. It's only four words, but they are the only four words that a young aspiring writer needs to hear. "Go back to school." I never did heed those words and have lived to regret it. I've loved reading your blogs and they have helped to ease an otherwise dreary winter. Take care of yourself Nessa, and stay in touch.

WOW Holy Cow!!! Awesome pictures of Rome, Ness. That's one place I've always wanted to see--that and England/Scotland. You are making me think very seriously about planning and booking a trip.
Thank you for all your stories and pics! What a fantastic experience for you and Alex.
Be safe, girls, and keep the blogs coming!

Amazing As I read your blogs I just cant stop thinking what an amazing adventure you are on, and I know I have said it more than once. The places and things are your seeing will be something that you will remember for many years to come, and the many stories you will be able to share with us. Love and miss you mom.
This time around I am headed to South East Asia. Follow me while I search a path less traveled, get certified to teach yoga, and discover once again, that if you put your mind and your action to it, Dreams really do come true.
