| 16th April 2009 Carrie & Peter | So...... - From: Convicts, Devils and a Big Mountain Summit .....when is the engagement and wedding? You are living the perfect idyllic life young lady. You always have but this is something out of a fictional novel. We are sooooo very happy for you. We miss you and wish you were here in London...as the weather is getting quite nice. When is Matt coming back to Canada with you so we can all meet him? Hi to Mom and Dad Code.....hope things are well with you too. Carrie & Peter (Old Proudfoot Lane neighbours) (((big hugs))) |
| 9th January 2009 Carrie & Peter | hhmmm...are those matching pyjama pants? - From: Barefoot Christmas hahaha...Trish..the pyjama pants look great on Matt...and you too! Darling you are living the perfect dream life....and we are all envious of you. Enjoy, Enjoy, Enjoy!!! Makes me want to book a ticket and come for a visit tomorrow. Don't tempt me. hahaha Just moved to the new house on Monday so we are in box hell for a few more days. The TV is connected and the internet is working, and the new shutters on the windows are installed...what else could I ask for in the first 4 days? I know what you mean about missing the white Canadian Christmas having spent Xmas 1984 in Sydney at Manly beach, but trust me if you were here you wouldn't miss it for long. Your blog is wonderful and I love reading it and looking at all the pictures. I spent my one New Year's Eve on an old ferry in the middle of the Sydney harbour with a Canadian from St Thomas who I met at the duty free store buying Kangaroo slippers for my brother...honest. Anyway it was one of the best New Year's Eve ever...the fireworks are truly amazing and sandals in January is pretty awesome. Keep up the good work at 3M and enjoy your fabulous life on the water.....we are all living vicariously through you and enjoying every minute of it with you. Cheers baby!! Carrie & Peter the old Proudfoot neighbours ((hugs)) |

| 23rd October 2008 Carrie & Peter Moreno | well, well, well...Trish the Dish has been found - From: 27,118 th and 103 minutes Trish.....G'day mate!!! lol ok I had to type that. I have just skipped over all your blog from the beginning...apparently we were left off the "Trish has left the country" email almost a year ago. I have so much to say/type I can't get the comments down on the computer fast enough. I am reliving my 8 months I spent in Oz when I was a very young 19/20 in 84/85 (dont do the math)....it is just as I remember it. Drinking, drinking, and more drinking. AHhhhh what a life and you are living it full time. Somewhere I skipped over the part where you decided to stay...not surprised....it was hard for me to leave and I only had a part time job to keep me in alcohol. And who is Matt????? skoop....I need more skoop. Nice looking whoever he is. Is he really from Down Under? Ok...I have to go, dinner is soon to be on the table. Girl...you may be half way around the world, but you have not changed a bit....good for you!!! Live it up, life is too short and you deserve all the fun life has to offer. Hi to Mom and Dad Code if they are allowed to read this.....I was Trish's first official neighbour when she lost her property virginity in London...good old Proudfoot Lane.....and the boozy backyard parties....I distinctly remember one night not being able to figure out what all the laughing and goings on were coming from the patio below on a warm August night...."oh it's just Trish the dish and a few friends on the back deck" snickered my husband and rolled over back to sleep. The memories........just like it was yesterday. I have signed up to get notifications when you post new stuff on your blog, and I might add.....August 27th, it is time you added some new stuff!!! We are all dying to continue our vicarious life through you. Cheers Sheila!!! ((hugs)) Carrie & Peter xoxo |
| 6th August 2008 Michael Roach | Jurassic - From: A very close call I remember thinking that the vegetation at one point in the Great Ocean Trail (Victoria) was like that. These sort of trees must have survived in Oz whenever they last died out anywhere else. Also the shells coming out of the banks at the beaches were like nothing that I had ever seen. They brought back memories of school courses. Weird. |
| 17th June 2008 Kathy K | BARF - From: ....and Whale Sharks!!! Seriously, can you take it down a notch? I am getting diabetes from all your sugary fun times. |
| 23rd May 2008 Kathy | Imagine my surprise - From: 6 Months! Okay, first it is nice to see you publicly announce what we knew ten days before you left. Second, it is really sad for me to see your beach towel sitting on the sand and I can't put mine there beside it! It looks so warm and lovely! The spider thingie is too damn creepy. Keep it up and I will never visit you. Or at least I'll be the embarassing one in the net suit. heebie jeebies, baby. Lastly, if you keep saying things like "the canapes were fabulous" I'll have to come over there and smack you. Seriously, you sound out of my league. Miss you! Kath |
| 20th May 2008 rebecca shearer | I should have entered a betting pool!! - From: 6 Months! Of course we (Doug and I ) are not surprised in the least that you are staying on. We just hope you will stay long enough for us to come and visit you this time! We are so happy that you are doing so well "Down Under", we knew all along that this was the place for you. We are so glad that you are coming back for a visit....the boys miss aunty Trish and so do we. I (and lots of others) still want some good pics of Matt (sorry if you are reading, Matt, but it's essential!!). Talk soon, and yes, I'll get on the skype thing...promise! Love, Reebs :) |
| 19th March 2008 Kirk O | You sure you are working there... - From: Melbourne and The Great Ocean Road - Crystie's Visit - Part 5 of 5 Looks like a 4 month vacation.. not doing the same at my job ... mostly worried about recent 8 layoffs. 3M london needs to get some business going.. Nice to see you haven't gained any weight.. thought with all that vacation you would be like me after a cruise. Kirk. |
| 8th March 2008 rebecca | not jealous!! - From: Melbourne and The Great Ocean Road - Crystie's Visit - Part 5 of 5 So good to see your pics and hear all about your travels down under. Colin loves looking at the map and pictures.....he wants to see the koala's!! Duncan can't understand how you can be in these pictures....it's sunny and there's lots of water (unlike here where we have 30cms of the white stuff!!) It may be a rainy year down under, Code, but you'll be glad that you are missing this winter!! It doesn't seem to want to end! Ewan says "*%H*(@^&HDKHLAKS"....your guess is as good as mine! I'm sure he says, "we miss you and look forward to more updates, and to you coming home when you are good and ready!!" Keep happy and healthy, lots of love, Rebs and boys xo :) |

| 18th December 2007 Kath (the ORIGINAL Kathy) | I'm telling your Civic that you're cheating! - From: December? Christmas? Huh? Well, not many people get a sunburn at their Christmas Party. And the fact that you got a company car doesn't surprise me at all. I'm wondering when 3M is going to tell you your next job is oiling up models for the fire fighter calendar to assess the viscosity of the baby oil. Lucky lady, you! Glad you're having fun. Sounds like there is a bit of work in there. Somewhere between the surf lessons and the mountain biking and the smilie friends adopting you. Miss you, the blog is great, Kath (the original, but I CAN share) |

A CAR! Cha Ching girlie...ask and ye shall recieve! Merry Christmas, Love! |

If anyone would like to help the Australian Santa make sure Trish has something nice for her first Christmas do let me know at caf_999@hotmail.com. In the mean time we will do our best to keep her in the manner to which she has become accustom... million dollar views and lots & lots of laughing :) Merry Christmas to all of you, with love from the Australian 'Village' (especially Catherine xxx) |
| 22nd November 2007 Crystie | - From: Pictures at last...well, maybe. It's a prepaid good until the end of November and I should have my work phone soon....not that I'll be allowed to text Canada! |

| 16th November 2007 Kathy | I can feel your smile from here - From: 2 Weeks Already?! Hi Trish, Your blog is great. I can picture you setting up your little Aussie nest, and making it feel like home. In fact, despite your surroundings, there is probably less beach/ocean/fish/dive stuff around you than when you were in London! Glad to hear things are going well. We won't tell your Civic you are thinking of cheating on it with a convertable. I guess everyone whores around at some point. Love ya, kathy |
