Welcome Home Once again, many thanks for sharing your round-the world experiences with us. Great photos and blogs really made it feel as if I was with you.
Just a pity Kelly that the Ipswich boys were not on target in Orlando. However, the Tractor boys shot down the canaries instead at Portman Road didn't they?........ Oh. Oh!!!!!
Looking forward to seeing you both on my next trip. Beebee.
the old saying...time flies! when you are having such a ball. i can't believe its nearly time for you to return to your "grace land" NORWICH.... it really has gone quick. no great news from me....dogs fine, (yazzee leg all healed) charlie fat and peter too!! i did my first ever husky rally this weekend and got 2nd with Shola and her sister Goose in a 2 dog team, so i was well chuffed with myself, me being a rookie to the sport!
you will be pleased to know that the temperature has dropped in our part of the world and struggled to make it above 7 degrees today, and so i have turned the heating on for the first time this year. typical as me and pete are on a weeks holiday. so far its rained everyday and ive had to start wearing my coat to go out!!
so at least with you two, you can hop on another plane and fly to warmer climates, im still stuck deciding on which rain coat to wear! make sure you do a summery of your last blog. maybe you could do a top ten of places you have visited...oh...and i know you are hunting for a new career now... perfect thing for you....travel industry, you have been nearly everywhere, so you will be able to advise from experience...plus you get cheap hols too!
until your last blog....take care and i will "SEE YOU SOON"

Icy Times in Canaryland Enjoyed pics and blogs. Thanks. And its such a lovely warm sunny day here in Deutschland. Made even better as I've just heard of another five goals. THIS TIME 5-0 and not 0-5!!!!!! Up the town! Kelly, expect your saying "right-up"!!!!. Suggest you do some scouting during the remainer of your stay in Yankyland, looks like you need a goalie, at least until Ollie is old enough. Ju, bet you'll be glad to get home for some decent beer after that p??? they serve there. And I can't stand Bourbon either, give me Irish or Scotch anytime. Have fun!!!! Beebee
hahahaha Hello sis! wahhhhhhh your home soon!!!!! im still super jelious of all the mad things you have done!!! cant wait for you to come home and see my new arivals (kittens) in my new pad. we shall have a beer and photos evening set up for you when you get home!

THERMAL ACTIVITY YOU CALL IT? Hello to you travellers, well sooner or later you were going to get a bad experience and what a pity it turned out to be somewhere that maybe we would all have loved to visit sometime, but never mind i'm sure you will have lots of better memories to remind you both of your wonderful adventure. got to take you up on the comments about the thermal activity, are you sure that was what it was or was it Julian reminding you Kelly of the curry's that you ate whilst in Asia!! I would imagine it was probably on a par with the salt lakes in Malta "instantly forgettable" how did you enjoy the "pickey" experience then!did you manage to sell any scrap or obtain any lead off the church roof's?I reckon that type of touring holiday will become the norm for you both in the future, soon see a camper van outside no29!together with the dogs and ponies and milk churns! anyway joking apart I know Mark is looking forward to meeting up with you both in San Fransisco and I'm sure you will have yet another good time, then it's off across the good old U S of A to bring your fantastic experience to a finish which i'm sure you will have mixed feelings about.then it will be back to the drawing board to plan your next tour to take in the other parts of the world that you missed out on this time. Anyway sorry about the Canaries Kelly! the sooner you can add your voice to the protesters the better!! "up the blues" Take care of yourselves and stay in touch. Dad x PS I suppose you have realised that the old pensioner from Germany is over for a few days next week, that should be fun, hope he does not leave his zimmer frame at home!!! byeee x
Go Places First of all, belated birthday wishes Kelly. Thanks for the tip. I'm off on my travels in a few days and so will no longer visit Fxxx. Instead it will be better to visit the old codger in Norwich again. Hope he doesn't take umbrage or I may have to sleep in your garage. But, joking apart, the rest of your good impressions of other places far outweigh Fxxx. I enjoyed the shots of NZ which were, again, very good.
Glücklisches Reisen. Beebee
mileage in NZ! Forgot to say, but we drove 4000kms or 2500 miles across both islands of NZ - not bad for 18 days! The best bit is that the fuel only cost 183 pounds including taxes, so a bit of a bargain really.
scary pilots.. hey Kel, and Julian. Still harrasing the rest of the worlds locals then! sounds like you are still having a "whale" of a time! now Kelly, you know me, im not the travelling type of girl, but believe it or not, i too have been abroad this year (my sisters hen weekend, Magaluf) we had a great time, but i also think that we may of had the same pilot when we flew from Germany to Parma airport, (it was cheaper than going direct, not quite round the world, but a big trip for me) at one point we too had land through one window, and sea through another. i never realised until that flight that there must be some sharp bends up there in the sky, because we were changing direction every 2 mins. at one point there were lots of gasps, as the plane felt like it droped half a mile out of the sky, which was then made even scarier when the lights started to flash....we did manage to land in the end, and then skidded our way in dramatic fashion past the arrivals bay!! and....at NO point did anyone over the tanoy mention anything about clouds, weather, wind and reason for the last hour of hell. now considering i have not flown much, i was perfectly fine, infact it was quite a buzz...but Jemma my sister, was very close to pucking up her rubbish lunch she had just eaten!! so she would sympathise with you when you had Mr. Learner flyer....well i guess they have to practise...and the last thing you want to be told when you take your seat is "welcome passengers, the exits are here, here and here, oh and if we can welcome the pilot, he has just passed his test to fly this plane so if its a bit bumpy don't scream too much as he will need to concentrate!!"
anyway. glad to hear you are eating well....i have seen photos of some big bits of ice from my friend who has just returned from iceland, but they just looked black too just mud really....keep on moving...you are a proper traveller now you have had a caravan. continue having fun. see you soon.
Ali.
All Wool and Mutton How on earth can you remember all that information and still find the time to eat massive amounts of food and drink New Zealand dry I ask?
What a blog Kelly! it's beyond my imagination to even think of Julian putting on those snow chains but I could definately imagine him tucking into all that lovely food and drinking all that lovely booze.
I would imagine the old knuckles got a bit white, both when you were on that damn flight and of course doing that boat trip, however if you want to experience these things you have to suffer the concequences don't you, what a thrill it must have been seeing the whale it must have reminded you of your snorkelling with Julian!! and all those lovely dolphins must have been brilliant.
Liked the bit about the number two's ,what did you do, go behind a tree or into a sheep pen!! pity you could not make Milford Sound that would have been awesome i'm sure but never mind perhaps I may make it one day and send the photo back to you, who knows.
Well keep up the good work both of you wilst we continue to earn a crust back here in good old "pomm" land, look forward to the pictures when we get them so keep clicking away and stay safe.Dad.W x

THE PIC'S ARE STILL LOOKING GOOD ,CAN'T REMEMBER HOW MANY NOW BUT I'VE SAVED THEM ALL TO ALBUM SO THAT WE CAN HAVE A GOOD SORT OUT WHEN YOU GET BACK,VERY MUCH LOOKING FORWARD TO THE N.Z ONES ,I'VE ALWAYS BEEN OF THE OPINION THAT IT IS ONE OF THE BEST COUNTRIES IN THE WORLD,THEY TRY TO KEEP THEMSELVES TO THEMSELVES AND ALSO HAVE SOME AWSOME SCENERY,IT MUST BE STRANGE SEEING SNOW IN THE MIDDLE OF AUGUST/SEPT THAT WILL MEAN A LONG OLD WINTER FOR YOU BOTH WON'T IT?I'M SURE THE FOOD IS NOW MUCH MORE TO YOUR LIKING,I MUST SAY I DID NOT FANCY SOME OF THAT STUFF YOU WERE EATING EARLIER ON IN ASIA AND YOU CAN IMAGINE WHAT MUM'S COMMENTS WERE.ANYWAY KEEP TAKING THE PHOTO'S AND DRIVE CAREFULLY JU!KEEP ENJOYING YOURSELVES. PS YOU WILL SOON MEET UP WITH THE OLD MUPPET WON'T YOU HE IS COUNTING THE DAYS NOW.
TAKE CARE DAD X
Gidday maties from the paddock Hey Guys,
You didn't really expect Essendon to win did you. Hope you had a great time down under and didn't come across too many drongos, there are a few galahs down here as well and they are usually found, not in trees as one may expect, but in pubs. I just had to read your China blogg(and I hope **** doesn't). I must say I'm disappointed that you didn't hang it on us (aussie girls) too much. Kel, expected more from you. Joking... Anyway, keep on adventuring...from your fellow China traveller.
Cheers Arlene
The Flying Doctors Another great Blog from you Kelly!hearing about all those flights reminded me of that TV programe of years ago called the "flying doctors" probably a bit before your time, you will have to ask "Bee-Bee" about it because it would have been during his younger days!! I am looking forward to the Barrier Reef photo's particularly of Ju swimming with the Whales! I have compiled a list of autograph's that me and the boy's want,so perhaps you can see what you can do,they are Paul Hogan,Dame Edna Everidge,Clive James,Skippy the bush kangaroo, and last but not least the great Kevin Muscat!! fair dinkum! Castlemaine Brewery tour! that was not a surprise was it ,best watering hole in Ozz! have you found a TGI's yet? could be one somewhere you will have to try and find it .Keep enjoying yourselves Dad x Ps Jack has been shacking up with a Sheela! lucky little sod.
Ozland Thanks!!!! I thoroughly enjoyed both the photos and Blogs. I have concluded that you are both the Wizards of Oz. Continue to enjoy yourselves! Beebee
mmmmm.... beer! soooooo.... jealous!!!! Just read that at work and am now depressed!!!
sounds like things are still going great... can't believe that was only flight number 16 though... we did 10 in 4 weeks!!!!!! Take care both, and have an Aussie beer or 6 for me!! Neal
fab times Hey Kelly and Ju, sounds like you are still having a ball. not tempted to come back early then!!! met up with the girls the other week. all are well. wish i was wondering the world with you meeting all the wierd people..but then again, i would have to leave my cosy life..im so sad!! by the way, can't remember if i told you i called my new puppy Yazzee and Shola managed to break puppys leg last week playing a bit rough...so i have had to only work 4 hours a day for the past 5 weeks, which has been a real struggle!! back full time now though...boo ho.
see you soon. luv ya!! Ali.
Ju's pics. Great pic's Ju. Thanks... I especially liked the ones of the dancing girls......those of you too, Kelly!......That scoreline ?.... I take it was Shanghai 3 Norwich 1, Great result; speaking as a Tractor Boy (my "tractor" goes at 250kph - that's 150mph to you unconverted). There must have been a lot of Canary supporters as I saw lots of yellow faces.
Cheers, Beebee.
Off ToThe Land of Oz Careful! You may come across even more aussies than in China.
However, while in Sydney you should consider buying a season ticket for the local team. At least they have a great ex Town man as manager and that must be better than watching offkey Canaries.
Ouch!
Bill who? Hey Both,
It's great being back at work!?!?!?!? I am so jealous!
Kelly you're writing makes Bill Bryson look like an amature... so funny.... and no pages missing in your blogs!!?
Come on Norwich tomorrow... I hate Leeds more than you remember!?!
Keep travelling safe guys and remember, there will be less Australians in Oz
I'm missing the banter and my drinking buddies, Take Care
Neal (and Caroline who has also been enjoying your blogs)
PS - If you havn't already can you e-mail us the link so that we can check out your photos please!
Bogs and Bogs !! Now that we have found the time to read your latest Blog it appears to me that you should take up writing,( I will be your publisher) you really do make them sound very interesting Kelly so much so that I feel as though I am out there with you both,"well done".I would have loved to meet those gorgeous little children in Cambodia and experienced some of that fantastic scenery.so far as the toilets are concerned surely it was not such a culture shock to you because there is one you often visit on a saturday in Norwich that should have prepared you for what you had to put up with ,the only difference being that there is always twenty two blokes running around it when you go!!! any way keep up the good work and maybe Ju can learn to be a bricklayer when he gets to that "wall" i'm sure there will be a few repairs needed.
Stay safe and keep eating the "Rats" it will be better when you eat kangaroo- nut soup won't it? Love Dad and Mum W XX
You could be quids in! Yes, long but great! Kelly, you may have missed out. Ju, is worth more than a dollar, even at only one cent per pound. Now back home in Germany, and enjoyed my trip, especially day on the Broads with your Dad and Boat Captain Oliver. Hot and humid here too 32C and increasing.. I would love to view the pics. Bye . Beebee.

Message for Vonnie Hi Vonnie, if you see this drop me a line, the last 2 emails I've sent to you bounced back to me!? Must be some dodgy foreign server at my end....Kelly
Hi Kel!!! The latest photos are fabulous!! Those wild dogs are something else!!! LOVING the descriptions of your travelling companions!!! Sounds like you are meeting some "colourful" characters! Can't believe no-one told you about the humidity in the Far East - it is well known for that. Anyhow hopefully both you and Ju are over your last hangover now and well onto your next one celebrating England's win over Ecuador!! England still need sorting out BIG TIME!!! What is wrong with them!! They are scraping by!! Time to pull their socks up and get their act together - they need to start thrashing the opponents - not pussy-footing around!! Sorry - off my soap-box now!! Looking forward to your next blog!!!
Take care
Vonnie
