Paint your photo
Tom, I've really enjoyed your travelogue. A great blend of history and anecdote, with great photos, or should I say paintings? Hope to see you in Canberra for Christmas. Bring all your paintings down on CD and we will have an exhibition. Cheers

Pasta dish at Hell Hunt
Thanks to Estonian for the correction. I actually went back to Hell Hunt again the second night and noticed my error, it has now been corrected in the blog entry. I had to have the pasta with smoked salmon, parmesan and creamy sauce one more time. It is absolutely to die for!

Hell Hole is actually Hell Hunt and it means gentle wolf in estonian... good story, thanks!

Red Bus
Yeah, Red Bus was nice. We staid there as well.. Hehe, of course not in Marco Polo with the "nice" gothic-bar downstairs, where Steve staid ;)

Clown & Bard
Hey Tom, we've stayed in Clown&Bard Hostel, one tram station away from the main station. Not that modern but clean and a nice party place with damn cheap beer (that's why we liked it ;)) Marcel

Bucharest Budapest
hello Tom - nice travel report you wrote about Budapest. Just two small points - 1. In the first section you erroneously write Bucharest as the capital. 2. Hungary was one of ten (not 9) countries which joined the EU in May 2004. Beside that: chapeau for the nice blog!
