oooh The temples are so neat. You've inspired me to go and visit... I can't imagine how much history was crammed into your head from the visit :D Okay, back to studying!!! Silly girl, so easily distracted by the internet ;)
yay, you guys finally made it south!
i always enjoy reading your blog, it brings me right back to central america! (i was just there for a month and miss it all the time). hope the rest of your trip continues to be fabulous!
Wow!! Hi Guys! It sounds like you are having such an amazing trip! I can't believe you ate iguana Dustin, ew! That just sounds wrong. It's really cool reading your blogs, besides the food poisoning it sure sounds wonderful. I'm pretty jealous. The pictures are great to see too, I loved the monkeys from a while back. :) Leanne
That shower head is a beauty! Don't worry about the code issues, you need to find out if there is a patent on that sucker. It sounds like you've really been getting your money's worth down there in both scenery and dollar value.
Here in Calgary we had 20 degree weather and then snow and then hot and now it's cloudy and will probably rain. It's fun to watch everyone here complain about the weather but maybe not as good as exotic food and fauna. Thanks for the pictures and commentary.
Hey this great Sorry that I haven't been answering any of your travel blogs let' just say that I was having teck difficulties. I'll explain when you get back. Great pictures and it sounds like you guys are having the time of your lives. Nice to be able to follow your trip and see some of the things that your doing, I had alot of reading to catch up on looks so beautiful there. look forward to all the stories and pictures when you get back. Love Dad
take what you want but eat all you take remember this sign at a Vegas buffet, Dustin? oh well - sounds like the medication worked its magic. i've enjoyed your blogs a great deal and look forward to hear more details of your adventures when you get home. love,Shell
how time flies if i must say so myself, i do a great job at procrastinating. almost unbelievable a month has gone by so quickly, but i neednèt remind you of that because i am sure the two of you would stay longer if you could. the whole trip sounds almost surreal with all you have done and experienced. mostly i am envious, but am very glad you did go and are sharing all your descriptive stories and pictures. the pictures all are very good with just a digital phone, and the commentaries are excellent. the country sounds amazing, and we will look forward for tips on what to do and where to go if we are that lucky. the smiles on your faces are great to see. hope you finish off with a flurry - canèt wait to see the rest of the pictures, hear the stories, and most of all have you back home safe and sound. take care. ed
Holy Needle Nose!! Hello! What a cool looking fish! I am having such a great time reading all of your blogs and I even went to a travel agency to ask questions about doing something similar! It sounds like you are having such an amazing time, though I will admit... I am still squirming from the picture you posted of that snake a few blogs back... *shiver*.
Keep blogging, it fills my boring mornings at work and is much appreciated!! Enjoy the rest of your trip!!!
Hi Kids! I check the blog everyday, and apparently some are only recently posted - decided to print them all off and study a map so that I have some grasp of where you are in your travels! Glad you're having such a great time. Love the pictures! xoxo Mom
It sounds like you guys had an amazing day. Thanks for the pictures as it makes it much easier to imagine how beautiful it is there. Congrats on finding better coffee than City Roast!
shells hey guys, just a word of wisdom (though you may well know this already) when collecting shells to bring home it is often wise to let them sit in bleach water to kill off any stuff that may still be living in them, since they really start to stink something terrible after a while if they aren't disinfected. hope the new hotel is treating you well, i could sure go for one of those hot stone massages myself!
Love to surf with you Your trip sounds so wonderful, wish I was there, got the boaat launched last week and will go out for a couple of weeks on the long weekend. Brian and Louise will be with me for a couple of days. lots of love Grams
AWSOME! CUTE SEEMS TO BE THE WORD OF THE DAY. I WONDER WHY THAT IS. EVERYTHING LOOKS SO AMAZING. THE FOOD SOUNDS FANTASTIC. WE HAVE BEEN HAVING SOME GREAT WEATHER TOO. JAKE'S VIEW FROM HIS NEW PLACE IS AMAZING. THERE WAS A GAS LEAK ON YOUR BLOCK THIS AM. TRAFFIC WAS REALLY SNARLED. SEE ALL THAT YOU ARE MISSING. LOVE YOU MOM
just amazing guys! i'm so glad you got the picture thing figured out, thanks for sharing the beauty of the jungle! i'm already thinking about costa rica as a travel destination. the humidity has just hit here in minnesota and i can sort of sense the tropical sticky wetness you guys must be engulfed in all the time. keep the blogs coming, love to read em, it spices up my day. p.s. happy birthday jensy, i totally zonked on that one til now, what a place celebrate a quarter century! love christina
Eager Anticipation ... is exactly what I have in looking forward to your blogs! It's so good to see your photos and hear of your adventures, in such exquisite detail. I am already planning a trip to Costa Rica (in my mind). I imagine this is what the Garden of Eden might have been like. Things are well here, we saw Monty on Sunday and he took us on a great tour of the beautiful homes his firm has been working on. Ed and I went for a "walk" in Canmore, which turned into a "hike" just trying to get from Pt A to Pt B and back. Me in my white sweather with fur collar, dress pants and sandals and not happy when I twisted my ankle and a bramble snuck into my sandle. He is a wise man, he took me directly to Tim Hortons for (chemical) coffee. All is well. I love seeing the pics of everything, esp the two of you, and the blogs from friends and family. Bye for now! xoxox Mom
Posted a message on the original blog. Still learning to navigate this site! I absolutely can't wait to read your messages! What an adventure! We are off to Canmore this weekend. I might even go for a hike :) Happy Birthday Jenny! Glad you're having a great time, and love you lots!! Love, Mom
i can hear the jungle from here... wow guys! i can't believe you have time to update your blog so much with everything you are doing, sure nice to hear about it. i'm glad you didn't get lost in the jungle, though it sounds like it was a marked trail. i only saw one monkey in ghana, and that was someone's pet, so how awesome that you could see so many up close! (dustin i'm impressed some people are still using 35mm film cameras). and yes, margarita pizza with fresh mozza slices on top is the best. happy adventuring,
christina
