Wow! These photos are amazing! Where are you buying them? They must be costing you a fortune. I can't wait for the slide show. Are you eating lots of seafood? Have you found a great chef to bring home with you? Sounds like you're having a great vacation but come home soon. We miss you!
wish I cud be on vacation too!! absolutely enjoying reading your travel journals!! I think you two shld quit your day jobs and take up travel writing as a profession ;o) LOL.....
ok jokes aside, it's great sharing in this trip with you guyz via your travel blog. Vietnam seems like a beautiful country and it's amazing how varied each region is. One of my co-workers is of Vietnamese origin and I was showing her all the pics and getting a crash course in Vietnamese/Vietnam's geography from her. She's been feeling quite nostalgic reading all about where you guyz have been travelling to.
Thai, you're definitely earnings lots of brownie points with thought #2. ;o)..LOL....Bianca, you're a lucky woman
Have an awesome time on the rest of your trip and keep the journals coming!
AK47 and now the spider..! May I indulge you both with MY inferences and in direct reference to # 2 (from the random thoughts- Vietnam parti deux collection) CORRELATION COEFFICIENT of the GEESE amidst the attack of the Mekong delta spider and the unfortunate incidents of ‘the 'accidental tourist’ and his memory card still remains at a WHoopin + .96 !!!
WOO HOO!!
Keep safe .. in my prayers and hugs
Cookie monster!

Canary Resort Pool Reminds me of Taj Village in Goa. ... We have a similar picture .... I know you will be laughing your guts out to think that everything looks like Goa .. at least to say it reminds me of Goa.
I can imagine Bianca screaming !! when she sees a spider ! Be careful Bianca ... Be careful Buddy !!
Hope those spiders are not hiding somewhere on the ceiling or under the bed. Ha . Ha . Ha !
sweeter than fruity drinks #2....ahhhh. sweet. glad to hear you're both having such a fantastic time! traveling is so much more worthwhile when it affects you in a way more substantial than just swearing you'll never drink that much tequilla again.
Good drivers? You haven't been to Korea yet....they're notorious for driving everywhere EXCEPT on the roads..Taiwan has 11millon motorcycles on the road, that's like 1 for every 2 people that live there.. and they're WAY better than Koreans. ..anyhoo, if you do hear "love you long time" please let me know.. I'm yet to hear that in Asia..
Beer and Ice before whiskey and ice your in the clear... Yea, I had beer and ice in Taiwan, on some small remote beach...interesting to say the least. Gotta love Asia!! Damn I miss some good Vietnamese food....wish y'all could stop over in Seoul for a day or two..would be something else.
Finally! Welcome to Asia Flying Geese...life is comfortable here isn't it? ;) Makes u wana stay there and teach English for a living! Asia is definitely miles ahead of the West in terms of fun and vices...wish I coulda been there, but I got eight-balled by the prices..soorrrry!

And last but not least.......Bionca what in d--hail are you doing with an AK47?

Is the TTC on strike there? Xin chao ahn, Xin Chao ba ( gotta love goggle)....hope all is well back in the motherland. Things here are just peachy, TTC decided to go on a wildcat strike Monday morning. They sure did pick a good day though, its 30 outside, smog advisory and its a good day for another BBQ.....
Anyway be safe and write home when you'll can....I heard the pickled pigs ears ( tai Heo Nagam Chua - goggle again!) is great !!

Full of life I haven't been back to Saigon for quite sometime... However, everyone having visited Saigon recently feel that Saigon is full of life... It's absolutely fascinating to see the people and their government at the opposite ends of the political spectrum!!!

exciting start! Hey adventurous travellers!
Glad to hear that you two arrived safe and sound and enjoying your first few days in Vietnam. The traffic scene in HCMC seems alot like the crazy scene in Bombay........I think I could use one of those hair washing and face pampering sessions right now ;o)
Thai, your lovely aunties remind me of my aunties back in Goa who love feeding me with all the yummy Goan cuisine :-))
Pls. keep the journals coming - makes me feel like I'm on vacation as well ...LOL!
Have an awesome holiday - Luv, Samira
Safe and Sound! Don't think you missed much of Alaska, but I would still consider it direct :) I have to say the traffic does sound like what it would be in the Mumbai. Looking forward to more stories from the two Geese :). Safe travels!
