Hello, I\'m Bill. Firstly, I would like to thank you for Graciously allowing me to \"Tag Along\" on your Adventure. I Enjoy reading Your descriptions of Exotic destinations, the Cultures, Photos and Your time Onbard Ship. I Live in Alaska (Yes we Still have Snow) and following a Blog during the Depth\'s of Winter helps me past those days. Thanks...
You had mentioned that you may take a Caravan Trip for your next Adventure. Since I started following Travel Blogs in the winter, I got Hooked and have continued reading Yearound. I have found that Many people travel to Alaska and Blog their Adventures. Some trips involve only Alaska, Some are the US proper (lower 48) and then Alaska. They describe visiting all the National Parks on the West coast and up through Canada and Into Alaska for a Summer season. Many Brits, Kiwi\'s and Aussies fly in, purchase a Motorhome and Tour around for a few months. There are So many Wonders to Experience here in the US and Alaska, and you will be Close to the Oceans for at least some of your trip to experience Tidewater Glacier, Wildlife Tours and the Alaska Marine Highway System to name a few. Just another Idea for you to Ponder. Check out the Alaska Section of this Blog and see what other travellers have Experienced or get a copy of \"The Milepost\" at your nearest travel book store, it may be something of interest for you guys.
OK, thats my 2 cents... LOL...
Again, Thanks for letting me Tag Along.

Kerala My daughter has just returned from Kerala. She decided 4 weeks ago to visit on her own for 2 weeks, visiting Mumbai, Goa then Kerala, Whilst in Kerala she stayed on one of the houseboats that you mention, the only passenger with 3 male staff!!!The chef phoned his mother so that Laura could speak with her to say how much she enjoyed his cooking. It has always been on my bucket list, after visiting India 2 years ago, but is now viaing for a place with Sri Lanka which we intend to visit March 2013.
Keep on enjoying x x Happy Easter to you both
Vietnam Well we saw the glazed look of "Oh yeah" come across your faces when we said Saigon was all about noise, pollution and motor scooters - how many people could fit on a scooter, how much cargo one could carry on a scooter etc. We also said it was smells, all sorts of smells, dirt and poverty but wonderful people.
We see from your blog that you now understand what Asia is all about. You didn't mention the electrical wiring or didn't you ever look up?
We are sad that you are in your last few weeks so enjoy. We arrived home yesterday after several days in Brunei and Labuan which were fascinating. Cheers J&J
Hope that Richard is much improved I really really want to see photos of what you are wearing Claire for your visit to the palace. As it is a palace I think evening wear is very much the thing to wear.( I would have said de riguer but couldn't spell it)
Japan W O W welcome back I have missed you blogging.....

I red all your blogs:-) So sad that you guys didn't get the chance to come down here @ northern marianas island ...but it's okay we understand that your safety is more important:-) i just wished that our students had the chance to see QM2 they were so excited and i was excited too:-) you guys take care and have more more fun
Thank you for your comment My husband and I just wanted to say thank you to you for putting a comment on our travel blog. We were terribly sad to get so close to Saipan and not be able to come ashore. What we could see from the ship looked lovely but the ride over in one of the ship's life boats looked horrible and I think many of the passengers would have been very sick. Who knows, maybe one day in the future we can come back and see your lovely island.
Regards
Claire and Richard Tilson
I red all your blogs:-) Hi Mr. and Mrs. Tilsons. My name is Con San Nicolas. I leave here in Saipan and i work for GTC elementary school. Its very sad to hear early in the morning that QM2 is not going to stop by in Saipan port anymore. The news spread like skyscraper while i was in my morning supervision that day, right when the student's and my co-workers get down from the bus and their cars the first thing that they were telling me QM2 is not going to stop by at dock anymore:-( everyone was excited every students were excited before to news came out..We were excited to see this luxury ship. Everyone is getting ready with their cameras. But after we red and heard from the news that it's because of the bad weather that's why you guys can't come and see our beautiful island anymore we understand the situation you and the other visitors safety is more important . After 2 days for some reason i started to be more curious about cruise ship i research a lot and wow.... amazing pictures i found in Google i saw the inside of QM2 and it was fabulous!! and i started reading all your blogs:-) it is great because i can share it to my students who was looking forward to see you guys the day you guys supposed to come. I'm very sorry if i'm not really good English because its not my first language i came from Philippines that's why:-) your journey with your husband is truly amazing!! now, i have a future plans in riding one of the luxury ship like QM2 in the future. Not now- but someday. i heard its pretty pricey availing this cruising thing. Someday when i get rich ill be posting in this travel blog also hahahhaha!!!you guys have a safe trip!! i will be following your blogs every now and then:-)
Hello again Hello again Con San Nicolas. The English is lovely and my husband and I enjoyed reading your comments. Please tell your students that we were just as sad that we could not come ashore and see your island and maybe wave to all of you. We're delighted to read our blog as you will know what an incredible trip we have had travelling the whole way round the planet. We are very lucky to have been able to do this and to do it on the Queen Elizabeth and Queen Mary 2 ships made it extra special. I think your students are very lucky to have you. None of my teachers would ever have thought of bringing things like travel blogs into class. But then I went to school long before the interest had been invented! So again, our thanks to you for taking the trouble to send us a comment. Please pass on our very best wishes to all your students. And to you.
Best wishes
Claire and Richard Tilson
Sorry we missed you.--Sincerely yours, Saipan. On behalf of the people of Saipan, I'd like to welcome, wave goodbye, and wish you well all in the same breath! :-) Yes, many were disappointed that the Queen Mary's visit didn't go as hoped. However, if it's any consolation, there were many fellow Aussies who DID enjoy the scenery and hospitality last year. In particular, I was honored to be able to conduct a tour for 41 visitors from the Sun Princess! Here's a taste of what you missed, and a virtual tour that may at least be of some entertainment value! See you next year, perhaps!

Hello Hello Walt
Now that we are home, my husband and I just wanted to say thank you to you for sending us a comment on our travel blog. We were terribly disappointed not to be able to visit Saipan. From where we anchored, we could see little bits of your island and a little bit more through our binoculars. But it was a real shame that we could not come ashore and get to know something about your lovely island and experience it first-hand. I guess it has to remain on our To Do List for a while longer!
Best wishes from
Claire and Richard Tilson
Heard about Saipan the cancellation Hey! Great to know someone on the Queen Mary is blogging about their experiences. I just got the news that the scheduled stop on Saipan was cancelled at the last minute due to non-typical rough seas. Of course, the Universe is perfect, and everything happens as it should. If you'd like to get a very, very small taste of what you might have experienced, (smile), take a look at http://jamaicaninchina.wordpress.com/2011/04/05/the-short-happy-tale-of-41-australians-and-the-jamaican-on-saipan/

Hello You were kind enough to take the trouble to send us a comment on our travel blog and I wanted to let you know how thrilled we were with our visits to Japan. Osaka and Kyoto proved to be fascinating and the many temples we visited were beautiful. Thank you for helping our visit be so special.

postcard......... your postcard arrived today....thank you so much....it made my day...and what a beautiful view....currently in pride of place on my desk, Helen and I will arrange a rota to share. We are both fine, and survived the re deployment, which went relevantly smoothly, although a difficult 2 weeks for all concerned. We just need to be a bit busier (to keep us out of mischief) Love the blogs, I feel as though I'm peeping over your shoulder, you both look the part of International Super Travellers..What a fantastic experience love S xx xx
