Pressing the right buttons Yes Grandma, well done, you are pressing all the right buttons and it's lovely to hear your and Pippi's news. I gather it's very dry back home with trees ailing in the heat. Have just seen the weather forecast on BBC World News (Frome didn't feature for once) and guess what, loads more rain forecast here again tomorrow. We're in Phnom Penh. More blog tomorrow , lots of love Jenn xxx
Tues 10th Aug Hiya Tony! Very nice to hear you are reading and enjoying our blog. Please don't feel you have to read each one! We've just arrived in the huge, sprawling Cambodian capital, Phnom Penh. Off to the Killing Fields museum tomorrow. It hasn't rained all day! Just about to have supper in the highly recommended Friends Restaurant - I shall be the shape of a barrel when I return. lots of love Jenn xx

Plaxton Enterprises Tracking your remarkable, memorable adventures is fascinating. Am sure you've lots of photos, but your wonderfully vivid accounts certainly bring your journeyings to life. Trust there are no more horrors awaiting you, but just pure undiluted pleasure. Enjoy it all --- and look after yourselves!
Love, Tony. (Keep the words flowing!)
Jealous! Hi everyone, Victoria Scudamore here. I hope you're having a super fabulous time, because it sounds like you are. I'm very jealous! I hope you have the best end of your holiday! And Chloe, me and Rach are ready to take you to KFC sometime after you return!...x
(PS. I sent you a nice long message on Facebook Chloe)
you certainly are having a mixed time, but it is good to hear that you have found a good hotel and food in Kampot. I hope that I am pressing the right buttons and you are getting my messages. Pippi seems quite settled down now .On the day I leave I will have to leave her shut in, because she sometimes is out at night until late and you might not find her here when you arrive. Tom will look in on her and top up her food . Also keep a eye in case you are delayed so she won't feel neglected !!
Keep on having an exciting time and love to you all Mum xxxx
blog continued... stupid computer!
Chloe and I had a fantastic massage in the blind massage shop, $5 for an hour each. My masseur found it very amusing every time I squeaked when he pulled my toes so hard they clicked.
The weather is not good at the moment and it's still pouring with rain. Still, things could be a lot worse. We have seen reports of severe flooding in Pakistan and realize we have nothing at all to complain about on our holiventure. Tomorrow we plan to leave early and travel the short distance to Kep, a seaside town famous for its crab with Kampot pepper, and spend a few days there.
So over and out from rainy Cambodia, where rain and smiles come in equal measures.
love from Jenny, John. Chloë and Ruby xxxx
Marmite Hello Sue, how nice to hear from you here in rainy Cambodia. You don't know how much Ruby is missing her marmite on toast! She has it every day for breakfast at home and is finding all the sweet things out here quite a trial. We did have a look for it in a shop where a lot of NGOs go to buy their whisky, but they didn't have any. Today was good though, she had a tuna baguette and was happy at last. Hope you are having a good summer and are catching up with your gardening and your lovely grandchildren. lots of love from Jenny xx
Cambodia Thanks for all the Pippi messages, we are so glad to hear she is settling in well and sleeping on your lap in the evenings. She is such a little sweetheart and we are missing her but glad she is safe with you and has a good friend! lots of love from very interesting Cambodia, J J C R xx
Come on Eileen Thanks for your message. You would love all these adventures too! Hope you have a fab time with the tribe of Doris. lots of love, Jenny xx PS The cups of tea aren't anywhere near as nice as the ones you make me at school xx
Dear All, Wow, you are having a wonderful adventure. It sounds a bit like the island from Lost. Have fun with the monkeys. I saw Mel and Simon in Trowbridge which was nice. Have fun. Eileen
Glad to hear that you are all o.k. after your scary, and wet, stay on the small island. ·All well here. Pippi goes out now
but finds her way back, as she knows where she is and also who feeds her !!
Hope your stay continues to be enjoyably eventful.
Lots of love Mum xxxx
GREETINGS FROM RADSTOCK Hi everyone,
It is so lovely to hear all of the things you are getting up to. Monkey Island sounded a terrible place with the dogs and Mosquitos, the boat trip sounded even worse.
I was reading an article which said if you eat Marmite on toast for breakfast it keeps the Mosquitos away, it might be worth a try if you can get some (you either love it or hate it as the advert says).
I will look forward to seeing your photo,s when you are home. The Elephant experience sounded great fun, the girls are very lucky. Looking forward to hearing the next instalment. Love Sue
Archers! I know the Archers probably seem a million miles away but tonight (2nd August) was probably one of the best episodes ever.........Download the podcast!!! Unmissable!
