Long time no blog...sorry. Life has gotten busy! The children have had two weeks of school and are adjusting very well. I continue working and enjoy it as well :) Odin and Lily turned 6 although their actual birthday party will be in October, we had a small celebration here on the actual day of their birthday. I turned 40 in Siena, Italy--pretty memorable city--so beautiful! Now I have to decide what my mid-life crisis will be !! Fall is here--cooler nights and crisp days---now the childrenbelieve that seasons DO exist! Planning some weekend trips to nearby towns as well. [View Full Entry]

Summer is still here as school does not start for two more weeks. MAtt, the kids, and their grandmother spent 9 days the seaside and explored. I, on the other hand, had to return to Rome and start work at my new school. So far so good and I am looking forward to a fun year. [View Full Entry]

Even though we aer still battling jet lag it sure helps to keep us up LATE! We met some good Italian friends for dinner along the Tiber River and the kids played and ate well past midnight--plus al almost total lunar eclipse was going on whcih made the night even more magical :)!
