Answer to: Would YOU spend a night in a decommisioned atomic shelter? Hi,
I might. Depends if I was desperate enough.

P.S. Did you have a good birthday? Angie did. We just finished off the last leftover cuocakes.
Glad you made it! Hi from the Tree House. So glad you made it to the UK in time for spring! How long are you staying? I have just returned from Cairns - left Martin on his own for 12 days. He was doing real well until the night prior to my return. He managed to fall down rear stairs, with the hand rail making huge swipe on his let hip area. Called in the Ambulance to Redland Hosp. X-ray showed no broken ribs, but the experience shook him up a bit. I returned the next day in time to dress wounded hip and ego. This month I should win the Nancy Nurse Award hands down.
Loved your pictures and quick history lesson too. Have a great time and w look forward to the next installment.
PS: Martin did NOT get in the Super Club this time. Sigh.

THANKS! Hey Lynne,
Thanks for the post and the awesome memories. I had a great time with the crew climbing the mountain and finding out about all the other amazing places in China I did not have time to visit.
I took some great memories away from the few days I spent in Xi'an!
And from the desk at work, the thought of climbing that mountain again seems more appealing.
Cheers,
Camden

Life is one big adventure. I know someone of note has said something like this in the past. I am a convert to the Big Adventure.
I have spent my first 42 years in a conventional vacuum. What I considered was a normal conventional life was sucking the life out of me. It's 4 years ago now that I decided to leave the 'norm' and I suppose now I have become a bit of an ' itinerant '. Not a label that businesses, financial institutions and Government departments have in the permanent address field on paperwork.
