I was going to make the first journal entry big, long, an full of images an videos; however, the internet access computers where I'm staying don't allow you to access legacy devices... crummy NTFS permissions. I'm not going to go into what happened over the first 10 days until I find a way of uploading pictures and whatnot. Suffice to say that a literary representation would require the resurrection of either P.G. Wodehouse or Mary Shelley. As for today, I spent most of my free hours in Shiodome and Akihabara which are, respectively, the most modern and most nerdly portions of Tokyo. Shiodome feels like a terrestrial representation of Coruscant. Akihabara, on the other hand, can only be properly described by two words: Nerd Vegas.
