Happy Birthday! Hi Theresa--Happy Birthday! I've enjoyed your travel blog so far, and looking forward to hearing more stories when you get back to St. Louis. Stay safe--no more accidents, ok? :) -Kasia
Ouch! Poor T! Way to be the straw that broke the tile - that so totally sucks! I hope you're on the mend and can enjoy your last few days in China. (Oh, and I love that it cost you less than a buck to get urgent medical care . . . remind me never to be a doc in China! And did you say BAG of ice cream? I'm intrigued!)
Doctor, doctor Wow! What an ordeal! I hope you are recovering. The detail about the leather jacket made me laugh out loud. Do you think you're going to have scars from the cuts? In any case, from now on you'll have a great story to tell!
Happened to see your blog.
The name of Morals Village is just a literal translation. From the bottom words, I know it is a hot-pot restaurant. The Sichuan hot-spot is very famous across the country. In winter, it's more popular because it's Hot. People eat while chatting.
Red Pandas I love red pandas (and non-red ones too). They seem like such cheerful creatures (I can't help anthropomorphizing, sorry!). And how great is it to be a national treasure!? Then you can make all sorts of demands. Shut up, I'm a national treasure! Feed me my favorite foods, I'm a national treasure! Give me lots of fun toys, I'm a national treasure!
Stay warm!!
Santa card Santa IS a robber! That makes perfect sense. Yes, he leaves presents, but that's only to distract you from all of your stuff that he has stolen while you were oohing and ahhing over the new Wii!
Fascinating journey you're having! Looking forward to more reports!
whoa Hey T!
Your trip is going to be amazing! Maybe you can train with the gymnasts while you're there...that would be interesting!:) I wish you the best!

Pocket Espressos!
Those sound fabulous! I also love those little chocolates (I forget the name) that are filled with real espresso. Perfection!
