We watched the Grand Canyon get smaller for hours as we drove away… Seeing the snow capped mountains in the distance amongst the dry rock formations is a beautiful contrast. We made it to Monument Valley, Navajo Tribal Park and took a bus tour, once again, amazing natural structures. It was very very cold there. The reserve is 16 million acres and Monument Valley is set on 30,000 acres. Before I start I forgot to tell you all that I got married by Elvis at the Gracelands Chapel in Vegas!!! Can't believe that I forgot that!!!!! I've got the marriage certificate and all.... So after a teary goodbye at the airport with Mum I left her to go through immigration - had a dream run through and also through the Tourist Refund Scheme and before I knew it I was sitting in the departure lounge waiting for boarding.
