Hello everyone from Bangkok! After spending 26 hours on and between flights, with a slight detour due to some volcanic activity and some major turbulence between Tokyo and Bangkok, we have arrived! And to abolish all your concerns, we have not encountered anything out of the ordinary despite the Bangkok protests. That being said, we are planning on leaving Bangkok today to get away from it. We are planning on taking a bus up north to Chiang Mai and then see how the protest plays out. The hostel we are at currently is gorgeous! Rooftop terrace pool and beautiful gardens. It's currently 37C in the shade and quite humid but neither of us are complaining! Not too much else to say yet. Here some of our pictures taken so far. Cheers! Tara and Rhonda
