olivos was terrible nice writeup BUT Avoid Olivos like the plague. Our cheap old car broke down repeatedly - not acceptable or reasonable reasons. Overheated twice. Alternator needed repairs en route. Car literally had no clutch, so every start was a rolling start, and on the flats we clients had to get out and push. No excuses for this, plus, when we returned the nasty, quibbling owners refused to grant any refund. I had to drag them into the police office and get the magistrate to order a refund.
good photos hiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii
Great Indeed, its a great thing that people like you are coming in to see our country and show an interest in depicting even the minutest details that we fail to notice. It may be because we are tuned in to the totality of this place. Thank you for the beautiful photographs and the warm smiles.
Nice Journey Dear Taylor,
I have read most of your blogs on different places. First thing is iam very jelous about you people that you have seen most of the fabulous places than we the citizens of India birth have not. but my suggestion is that if you come this time dont stick only to the main cities also look in to the villages of the India which are main foods generators and were the culture and heritage of India still exist. ofcourse you may feel so inconvinence but i hope you have a good taste of exploring the new places so u can enjoy the visit.
it has been a long time you have visited India, sorry for asking about something your personal. Have you got the job after returning from India? I asked this only that the divinity(by knowingly or un knowingly) you have achieved by visiting the most sacred temples in India would have cahnged your life. Thats what I believe. However all the best .
With Regards
Raghu
EXPRESS MY HAPPINESS Most of the photos are from Monroethuruthu, my village so i invite all of the persons those who have interest in travelling to our village.
Excellent photo record! As a local 'Otago-ite' who has ridden most of the trail (doing a bit more tomorrow actually), I thoroughly enjoyed your story and pics. A great advertisement for the Rail Trail. Note, though, the correct spelling of 'Oturehua':-)) Those Maori names are a bit daunting aren't they. My family came from Kokonga (Koko - nah), which is between Hyde and Ranfurly. The house is now a bike-back-packers. Good luck with your future wanderings!
