I'Laska you again. Howdy tiny:)
Are people there worried about the weather right now? or are they just enjoying the bugs? I am worried about the additional melt off. You look healthy and happy, that makes me happy. Thanks for taking the time to scoop us all up and drag us along with you.

Brings back memories Hi Suzanne,
I am so excited for you and am thoroughly enjoying your blog. Seeing your photos of the ferry and the train and the MOUNTAIN...brings back such great memories. I took myself on a two week trip to Alaska for my 40th birthday and travelled much of the same terraine. What an amazing experience you have created for yourself. Can't wait to swap stories upon your return. Big hugs to you my friend. Love, Kim
Beautiful pix and great descriptive post! Hi Suzanne -- Bart forwarded me the link to your blog. Your life in Denali sounds interesting, challenging, beautiful, scary (bears) and amazing. Thanks for sharing it in such detail. Wonder what Vashon will seem like after your Alaska experiences?

Following you to Denali I can't wait to see you and see experience Denali for myself! I don't mind skipping the close encounters with grizzley experience though. I read with great interest your instructions for dealing with a grizzley and I hope to never need to use it, although it is always good to be prepared. I'm scheduled to arrive in Denali on August 22 at 9 pm. See you then!
Love,
Hilary
Wonderful! Suzanne, thank you so much for your blog. Your adventures are mesmerizing and your writing is superb! You really make the experience come alive. I'll bet your programs are fabulous. Love you!

What beautiful photographs! Thank you so much for keeping us caught up with you. Is pepper-spray the same as bear-spray? I hope you never have to use it!
Hey Suzanne. I am on the phone with Michelle who told me you headed north! Loved reading your blog. Just back from Cordova, AK where N8 is fishing and working. I'll be back up at the end of summer. Perhaps you'd have time to venture down to Prince William Sound? xoxoxo

Snow! It\\\'s hard to imagine such wildness from where I\\\'m sitting now-- at Seatac on my way to New York. Thanks for the flight of fancy. It\\\'s so beautiful. I can\\\'t wait to visit you.
hooray! suzanne - this is SO fun to read about your adventures, and to see your pics. you just look like you are in heaven, and are obviously enjoying every step of the way. i am always impressed with your sense of adventure. i had a job last year on a cruise to alaska; first time for me, too. even though i pulled a 7am shift (yes, you read that right. ME.), it meant i was awake and up on a deck at 530a drinking my tea and surrounded by the glory! so, your posts are a nice trip down memory lane for me. love you lots. continued good fun and adventure! d
Close enough to touch the Bear Hi Suzanne
Patrick here from Seabeck... Gosh I totally lost track of you only to find you in a happy place on top of the world close enough to sip from the big Dipper!
Have an amazing adventure! Write and write and write. Be safe ok? Keep living the dream.
Be well.
Hey Patrick! So good to hear from you! How cool that you can follow my adventure here... guess I won't be at Seabeck this year:-) Come on up and visit!
Wonderful news! Hi Suzanne! Just wanted to drop a quick note to tell you how much I have enjoyed reading your two blogs, and how totally excited I am for you! What an amazing journey. All the best to you as you find your way in your new place. I'm looking forward to #3! Aloha, Diane
Hello all,
I am beginning my second blog, the first being my trip to Thailand and India (which you can still read about here!). I am adventuring into Alaska for five months to be an interpretive Park Ranger/ASL Interpreter at Denali National Park and Preserve. Join with me as I enter Alaska for my first time, and taste each new flavor and aroma. I'm glad you will all be traveling with me along the way! As before, bring on interactions, ideas, tidbits, and revelations.
Enjoy!
