9.05 the girls were very late
Yesterday on Saturday we organized a trip to Eger by our own. We started at 9 am in the morning. After 2.20h travelling by train we arrived in Eger (northeast Hungary), one of the famous vine regions. During the day we visited the Basilika, the Minareth, the castle, Turkish Bath, ... Later we went to the "Valley of beautiful women" to look for a good vine cellar. It was great here. More than 40 vine cellars. And the vine tasted very good. It was a very nice trip, and very cheap. We only spend 400 HUF for the vine tasting and [View Full Entry]

Party Weekend

 Europe » Hungary » Budapest
During the week nothing happened. I was just studying, studying and studying. Becaus I had an exam from my home university on Friday. Sadly it was strange and not very good, also for my friends in germany, so I'm quite sure to do it again in summer. But the main part is that it is over now and I had to make party now. On Friday I was on the Meet-Your-Mentor-Party in West Balkan. I better blog nothing here. Also if you want to know how it was, write me personally. But it was a nice weekend Magda and her flatmate [View Full Entry]

First week is over now. Tonight was the first day, I slept longer than 5 hours. And solely because I went home after the flaty party and not to the disco. But until my exam on Friday I'll be calm. Here you can go out every day and there is always a Party anywhere. You are already forced. Recently I was invited for dinner and wanted to go home then for studying. But no, I was'nt allowed cause of the first flat party I was. But the parties always start very late. Normally no one goes out before 23pm. You first [View Full Entry]

my flat

My bed. Very big, but it are two ones and I have combined them. But a little bit short - even for me
Now I have a flat too. I share it with two girls: Conchi from the canarian islands, Teneriffa (spain) and Kristy from Wisconsin (USA). It's very closed to the BME university, about 5 min. per foot and very good connected to the public transports. It takes me about 10 - 15 min to the center even though I'm on the Buda site. The flat is very nice as you can see on the photos and I have a quite big room. So do not hesitate to contact me, if you wanna come and visit me. There's always a accomodation. [View Full Entry]

Now I am here since almost 5 days. Yesterday I visited a flat. It's very nice. I hope I can get it, but must talk with the owner today. The hungarian people are very friendly, especially the younger ones. On Monday I was in the nightbus, locked on my map where to get out - because there are some traffic problems of the metro lot - and the women next to me asked if she could help me. Coincidentally she lives in the same street. So I had no problems to find home. But the problem appeared when I saw my [View Full Entry]

1st day in Budapest

 Europe » Hungary » Budapest
Yesterday I have arrived in Budapest at about 15pm. Trip was OK, the IC was quite new. Was also enough space too store our voluminous luggage. I was the first who has arrived in the hotel. Then just went running. Share my room now with an italian and turkish guy - but he is not like Engine :-( Thank your for your nice greetings. I miss you too. Today was the day of waitings: the whole morning I spent with registration. After a short introducion from the Erasmus-Coordinator we went to the registration office and it took about 2 hours. So.

Birthday Party

 Europe » Hungary » Pécs
Gestern hatte Magda (Polen) Geburtstag.

Is halt alles gleich.
