Happy Birthday belatedly Amazing, all these places I've never heard of! Wish it was as warm over here as it was for your birthday 4 yrs ago. Lots of love.
Hello to the Grey Nomads Hi Jo and John, You write the best blogs Jo. Heaps of detail. I feel like I was on that walk with you all. Safe travels on the rest of the adventure. Hope John hasn't missed too many 7pm news bulletins. We start our travel adventure in a few days. I can't wait. Love to you both xoxo
Hi from Linda & Tony In a word - WOW!! Can't wait to share your blog with Tony who is away in the Bay of Islands building our new home. Travel safely and needless to say - keep having fun!! xoxox
Cheers for 2011 Hi Jo
Am just doing my Christmas cards and am not able to find a current address for you, so thought I would have a look at your blog. Was good to see all your news (and the spunky chic with the topless waiters!!) and read about your year. We had intended to go to Sydney this year but have been so busy in our retirement we didn't manage to get there. Won't be caravanning this year, going to Europe & Britain instead for 6 weeks. Will also head up to the Cape in July (camping in tents etc) so a fair variety of travel.
Hope you have a wonderful festive season Love Jan & Rob
Your email You seem to have changed email addresses.
We had been in touch, off and on, mostly me gathering info for our trip to Australia. Well it happened in Sep/Nov of 2008.
Just wanted to keep in touch.
Gary
Loved the read Good to read a little bit about what is happening in the Stubbs' world. All the best in Dubai and look forward to catching up sometime, somewhere when you return.
Well done The house looks great, a great project manager/s. Dubai sounds fantastic, the cars would be pretty cool at the least and there is a V8 Supercar round there as well-April is good as it means Australia Day is still on!!. Have a great Christmas.
HELLO Leigh and Michael are pregnant....HELLO. Leigh is expecting in July, Michael I am not sure. All jokes aside thanks for your update. Your new house looks great and your adventure to Dubai next year will be an experience. Yep seen the structual developments in Dubai....with the current price of oil maybe they will slow down a little.
Cheers Bill and Lorraine

Well, I won the bet! (Would it take longer to complete the house or the bub?) However, I am just as excited to see the end result of your project too!
We can't wait for the next few months as all the outstanding bits come together - it has been fascinating to watch so far. xoxoxo
Reacquainted. Hi.
Tried to send you an email, but it got rejected.
Glad to see you have updated your blog.
We have corresponded a couple of times, just in case you were wondering who this mad person is.
We will be started our Australian 3 month adventure in late August.
Its an ambitious, lots of mileage trip!!
Nice to hear from you again Hi Guys
Great to hear from you again. 2006 when we first met you on our trip around the block seems so long ago. We had many good times in WA and have been wondering what you have been up to. We have just left on a 3 year trip this time and are currently in the NT. Chris and the boys are well and loving our next adventure. Check out our website www.followourtrip.com if interested.
Take care
Brett, Chris, Alex and Harry
Cheap labour available Guys, in this time of skills shortages, I am willing to lend a hand if required. I recently purchased a $4 hammer and a pair of gloves for 50cents from Bunnings (i.e. little China). So now I am fully equipped.
We look forward to watching the Olympic Opening Ceremony in the audio-visual room in your new house.
Michael
PS. I am glad to see you have stopped spending our inheritance on lavish holidays.
Impressive Hi Jo and John,
I'm impressed about the owner/builder concept. I was on the site when I built my house, but was happy that I didn't have to supervise the sub contractors. They can be difficult to tell what to do, so having a builder to complain to was nice. Good luck from your Florida connection. Love, Phil
Braver than we are. We could never do that. Since January we have been to Reno, Tahoe, Nevada, Big Island of Hawaii, and The Tetons and Yellowstone National Parks, got into a lot of snow over 10,000 ft passes. Beautiful. Good to hear from you, All our love, jan Gene
Cant send email I received your Xmas card, got the new emails, but nothing will go thru. Do you need to ad au or something to it? What am I doing wrong? Going to Reno, Nevada, Jan. 12th to meet Gene's brother/ Glad to hear from you, Love u, Jan
Impressed how you brought the blog home, after 31 chapters. Quite moving.Congrats again on the trip. Off in our van to Broken head For the W/E.Regards Larry & Mary.
Thanks Gary What a surprise to receive a comment from a fellow traveller unknown to us. Glad you enjoyed our trip, we certainly did. Let us know if we can pass on any more info regarding your next trip.
Merry Xmas
Jo and John Stubbs
Wonderful blog I have really enjoyed travelling with you on your journey. You have made so many places real and more interesting than any other blog that I have seen. Nice to see information as opposed to the younger folks blogs.
We are Canadian, have visited Australia on two separate occassions, one month each time. I am hoping that we can get back in the next 9-15 months for about 3 months.
Will certainly not be able to see as much as you have, but I want to see WA and NT. Maybe a combination of car, train and plane.
Again, THANKS for such a great blog.
We started blogging in 2006 when we did a caravan trip around Australia. We've used this site for various other updates in our lives and now in 2015 we are on the road again. This time for about 3-4 months heading across to the Flinders Ranges in SA then across the Nullarbor to Albany for Anzac Day and then a slow trip up the WA coast to Broome and beyond.... full info
