Admiring! I cannot believe how brave you are!!! Being a russian, I've only travelled by train for 2 days... and, I must say, it was kind of a challenge. I wish you the greatest luck during the whole journey which is left. And thank you so much for leading such an exciting and extremely adventurous blog!))

Privet! I am definitely enjoying to read your blog) It seems like adventures of Scots in frozen Russia have already begun:)
Welcome to Moscow. Btw, if you wish to visit an exciting museum here and tired of art then there's a historical one I can offer you. It' called the Kremlin Armoury. There you can find weapon, costumes, carriages, coins etc.
Good luck!
Love the Blog! I'm loving the blog already.....glad your so good at updating as to your whereabouts and putting up photos, if I had to rely on Rosie I'd have no chance of knowing what you're doing! Keep it up and keep having fun xxxxx
Congrats to your journey!!! That's an amazing thing... Imagine, I've just decided I want to read a travelling blog in order to get inspired and the 1st blog I bump into is yours while you are going to Russia!))
It's cool here in Moscow - a subzero temperature and it's not going to change this week so take some warm clothes.
You know, early spring is not Moscow's best time, not the beautiful one at least... What can I advise you to do, is to walk the Boulevard Ring (Бульварное кольцо). It is about 7km long but you can always get off the way and go anywhere else cause it's round the Moscow's centre. A cup of tea or some cookies taken with would only make it even more pleasant) Oh, maybe you've never heard about the Boulevard Ring... Then I must say it is a half-round chain of narrow parks with beautiful benches, street lights, monuments to Russian classics etc. Of course, if you've already planned everything you don't have to follow my advice)
I'm eager to read your following posts!!!
P.S. I've got some relatives in London and Irkutsk...
About to embark on a trip with my 2 friends Rosie and Craig through Russia, Mongolia and China on the Trans-Mongolian railway, before visiting Hong Kong, Vietnam, Laos, Cambodia, Thailand, Malaysia and Singapore. Will be staying in Singapore for a while with my parents before figuring out our next moves.... full info
