We woke up nice and early... 2 find it raining. Our first day on the trail and it was pissin it down!! Well we checked, double checked and triple checked that we had everything and then headed out the front door 2 walk the mile or so 2 the bus station 2 be picked up by Mr Kirby. Well guys, its been a while... but i'm sorry 2 let u all down but this is just a quick one. Left DC last friday, oh and a side note 2 our last night in DC we had a power cut and some people got stuck in the elevator... pretty funny. Well left DC and headed 2 charlottesville, virginia. Another day in DC and the protesters of circumcision were still on capital hill!! 2day however was not a short wearing day!! First 2day we went 2 union station and got our tickets 2 Charrlotsville, Virginia 4 the next leg of our trip. After that we walked down 2 the capital and through the National Mall 2 the holocaust museum. Well day number 2 in DC and my first day wearing shorts... slightly premature maybe but the weather is gettin better!! 2day got up and headed 2 the national mall. We walked 2 the Capital building, where they have congress and all that. The buildin in itself was really amazin and just seemed 2 emmit power. However there were some protesters on the lawn. Well arrived in DC yesterday afternoon and both me and Ben were feelin pretty rough from the night out in Fell's Point, Baltimore!! So we took it pretty steady... well we spent alot of the afternoon tryin 2 get Leeds Fest tickets!! At first 2 no avail, went and had a kip and was waken by Ben sayin he had got tickets! Came down 2 use the net and got tickets straight away... Get on!!!! Well day number 2 and no laundry done!! Had a bit of a lie in this mornin and then got up and had a walk 2 Fells Point, lots of bars and resteraunts. We then thought we would go watch a film. There wasn't much on offer, so we watched 10,000 BC... and it wasn't as bad as i thought it was gonna be. Ok it wasn't wonderful, but it killed sometime in Baltimore. Well we arrived in Baltimore yesterday evening after another "train day". Checked in2 our hostel, got some food and then got some shut eye. Got up nice and early this morning and have had a bit of walk round the harbour, went up Baltimores own World Trade Centre, walked up federation hill, climbed up the Washington monument, saw a street performer. Now ur all probably thinkin "that sounds nice" well it was. Only trouble is i think we have done everything Baltimore has 2 offer! Neways after my blog yesterday we went and got an italian pizza 2 share and it was really nice. We then watched the Boston Celtics v Pheonix Suns in Baggyball... GO CELTICS!! Well Boston seems really... nice. Nice just seems like the right word 2 describe Boston. Where as New York was overwhelming and hectic (in a good way). Boston just seems 2 roll at a much leisurely pace. We got up this morning and went 2 a place near by to get breakfast... an all american freakin breakfast!! And suffice 2 say i haven't felt the need 2 eat since. We got the bus and then the tram in2 Boston downtown and walked 2 Boston common where we began the freedom trail.
