When we "visited" Kolkata, India, I was very disgusted with the way the children were treated in the brothels. They were treated as slaves, and some of the mothers did not seem very caring at all. What bothered me most was that the boarding schools would not accept the children because their parents were criminals. If they can't get accepted into a school and recieve a decent education, they will be trapped in poverty. It wasn't their fault they were born in the Red Light District! Thankfully, they were able to find a school that would take them. I liked the kids because they all seemed to have a good head on their shoulders.
