Hello subscribers this is my first blog about my experience in Grad School. The trip started with Brian, my mother and I all packing into a vehicle and driving down the Hartford, CT. The drive was great and we even got to see Emily Cain driving down the high way. Brian was a great navigator (must be the eagle scout skills). We got to see the destruction from the Mass tornado. I have never see anything so destructive in my life. We finally arrived at the Crowne Plaza on Saturday June 4th, 2011. The hotel was beautiful and we spent our first night out on the town at the City Steam in down town. The restaurant was very old and showed get history. Accepted Day Hello! Let me give you a little background information on how I got this great opportunity. In the Spring Semester of my Senior year at the University of Maine I attended the Engineers Week, Boston Career Fair. My mother and I drove down in February to see if I could land myself a job in Boston. Let me inform you we did make a stop in Freeport, ME and got a great new pair of shoes. The career fair started and I made my rounds to the companies booths. After leaving my resume with what seemed like 100 tables I finally was ready to leave.
