Biking! I've done that route, it's fecking mad! Can't remember if it was that one or the other we did but there was this crazy bit where the ground was just full of holes, 10's of feet deep, which you had to avoid at high speed!
Glad you're enjoying things, it looks really good! Keep up the blog work...
Potosi I used to live in Potosi for a while. We had a house with a courtyard. There was a bullet hole in the wall where a policeman had shot a cat - they eat them out there.
been there! Just for once, not quite so jealous becaseu I haev been to the salt flats at Uyuni. I was about 4 at the time, in the late 60s. We camped half way across. My parents were driving a toyota landcruiser [i think] towing a small two berth green caravan. THey also had a tent with no poles - it just had tubes which you inflated by removing a spark plug from the car engine and attaching a tube. No smoking! So I have thius vague memory of staning on the flats at the age of 4 cleaning my teeth in a small plastic cup.
BUt yeah, i am jealous really. Want to go there again!
Piccies As discussed previously, stick your piccies on PhotographersDirect.com and see if you can sell them.
Good to hear you're still enjoying it all. Hope the rest of the trip goes equally well.
Boca yeah, it was class, the stadium is a bit dated to say the least, but the atmosphere is unreal...yeah i heard that about maradona, but couldn´t see him anywhere.....i got a photo taken with a Diego lookalike though!
Yo You went to see Boca Juniors! Classic! I'm well jealous! Their stadium looks brilliant on TV. Did you see Maradona? I've heard he's got his own box right in the middle of the side stand. BA sounds pretty cool, i'll have to put that on my list of places that i want to go to but prob never will.
Sounds great Paul
Yo're obviously having a great time. No surprise that it was Americans starting a war - and the Welsh starting tea houses!
You may have heard of 5 British women killed in a traffic accident in Ecuador this weekend - so keep safe!
God Bless
Simon
PS Don't walk on the grass - drink it! (Hierba = grass)
