September 13, 2009 “I like the way your sparkling earrings lay against your skin so brown…” Four years ago we made a plan to go on an extended (ten week) cross-country tour….we saved money, met periodically, and mapped out our route. Four years have passed. Both of the “babies” have finished high school, one off to college, one entering the job market. Leave of absences have been granted, arrangements made for home and pets, supplies bought, a mini-van packed… and re-packed, goodbyes said… and here we go… four of us… friends, Donna, Jack, Ginny and Bill off on a long dreamed of adventure.
