An old entry but maybe you read it
Hey guys, sorry to hear that it wasn't possible to meet my family. The house you were standing in front of, is the house of parents! Gerhard is my father and the grave stone you saw belongs to my grandparents. Feel free to write me so we can figure out our family tree ?. English is not common with the elderly people, I'm sorry for that. But I would be glad to hear from you, Michelle

Hi! I know this is an old blog but I was wondering if you would still get my e-mail. We are sledding around Gaspésie beginning March 12, 2017. My question to you is how steep are the trails going towards Mont St. Pierre. I have a fear of heights and am wondering if I will have difficulty? Hope you are able to give me some idea. Thank you, Sincerely, Linda

Mont St. Pierre
The trials are not steep ridiing in that area, but you do get to pretty high elevation and can see the valley below from the trail. The trails are quite wide, tough and you should be able to ride them with relative ease. I, too, have a mild fear of heights and it didn't bother me.

"Well Hello Mary Lou!"
"Sweet Mary Lou I'm so in love with you". Glad you were all able to enjoy her "ever famous biscuits & gravy"! I loved all the calculations at the end............especially the number of songs Jim listened to! Happy all made it home safely!

Thank you, Heather
For your comments. Every time we stopped, you had to wait for Jim to pull out an earbud.

Trout Haven and some great new friends
The cabin was fantastic! Thanks, Jim Hunt for hosting us! Don and I had a great time with you guys & made some more wild memories. Really enjoyed meeting Mike Dehaan and Jim, and spending some quality time with my Bro, Bob (as always).

No one wanted to grill a few fish for dinner?? Where is the adventure of living off the land?
27th July 2016

No Fish Dinner
This guys' trip has no adventurous chefs I guess.

Bar fight
Although Bob looks a little roughed up, you should see the other guys. (Probably the first time they ran into some Chicago boys!)
