Brussels Calling My most favourite multicultural quirk about living in Toronto is greetings. Italians kissing left-right, Portuguese right-left, you think your safe with a handshake but that can make the wrong impression of distance. Here in Belgium at work the Flemish don't usually kiss but the Wallonians do once on the right cheek. I once forgot to do it and I definitely felt the difference. Ahhh, seems like it is not only Toronto where mixed cultures are complicated.
Memories Used to live at Yonge and Eglington--in the 60's so yours was the one I read first when I went down the list of 'blogs'. Found it very interesting---remembering the snow--the political scene---now live in Orlando Florida.
