I landed in Glasgow on Feb 22nd, staying with my aunt and uncle, on March 1st my sister, Paige and I are flying to Ireland. We are spending a few days in Dublin and then heading to cousin Micheal\'s. From there we aren\'t quite sure were we are going to go and for how long. We just know we fly back to Glasgow on the 19th of March. We then leave for Spain on the 24th till the 27th and then off to England on the 2nd of April. That\'s the plan so far and I\'m sure things will come up on our journey. Hopefully with this blog everyone can see the photos and what I\'ve been up too.Smartie

Stirling Castle Europe » United Kingdom » Scotland » Stirling By Smartie March 30th 2007 Today we went to Stirling Castle in Stirling, Scotland. My Uncle Kevin took the day off work so we could go. Its quite a cute little town with a lot of history. The castle was pretty cool, being able to go through all the rooms. We went to the cemetary where my Great Great Grandpa was buried which was right down from the castle. Saturday the 24th, we got ready to leave for Spain!!!!! Ya I couldn't wait to get there. This was the first flight that I actually was awake taking off and landing. I like to sleep on planes. We arrived in Reus airport quite late and we didn't think we were going to be able to take a bus to Salou so we were looking for a taxi. I happened to spot a bus that said Salou on the front and spoke to the guy and he said no problem where you going. We totally lucked out and the bus dropped us off right in front of our hotel. We went to Loch Lomand today and boy was it beautiful. It was a hour train ride and then we walked across the bridge so we could walk along the lake. There were some pretty big swans and I really don't like swans. Their nice to look at from a distance. Dana wanted to get her picture taken with one of the friendly swans that was roaming around the grounds by the lake. I ended up running past it hoping it wouldn't chase me. Dana the brave soul she is went up beside it for the photo however it started coming towards her and she was inching back. So the photo ended up her pointed at the swan from a distance. Happy St. Patrick's Day Everyone!!!! Hope everyone had a good one. Mine was a lot of fun but the weather was not very good at all. We got pretty drunk on Friday night watching the Hills Have Eyes. I don't recommend it, it was a little too disturbing for me. I really think there were some scenes in it that could of been left out. My cousin Leanne ended up leaving the room for some of it cause she couldn't handle it. Then we woke up late Saturday morning and got ready for the St.Patrick's Day parade. Hey Everyone, How's it going? Hope all is well at home. I've now been in Ireland for 2 weeks. The two nights we stayed in Dublin were a lot of fun. We left Dublin on the Firday morning to catch a bus to Bundoran. We had to catch the tram to the bus station and we couldn't find it so we asked a guy to direct us to the tram station. We thought we had found it cause the sign said Temporary Garda Station!!!! We all went in with our packs on and knocked on the window. Hey Everyone, How are you all doing? I hope all is well at home. I heard it snowed? That's crazy, all I've seen is rain. Kinda sucks, we've had two nice days if you want to call them that. Apparently that's what it does in Scotland and Ireland. Who Knew? The weather is quite odd out here, it'll rain all day and then out of nowhere it turns sunny with a couple of rainbows. I've learn't not to get too excited cause it usually is still raining when the suns out. I arrived in Dublin yesterday morning. My last two days in Glasgow were pretty laid back. How's it going everyone? Hope everyone's doing good. I can't believe I've been here for 5 days already. That's crazy. The weekend went by so fast, and we packed a lot into it. On Friday we went to town on the train. The train is kind of like our sky train but faster and a lot more of them. I definitely could get lost. I didn't realize how old the city was until we started looking at all the buildings. Its pretty neat. We walked through George Square and went inside the City of Chambers, we walked through the Museum of Modern Art. That was pretty cool and really different.
