I am currently a Young Adult Volunteer with the PC(USA) church. I am working as an Ecumenical Intern through a partnership with the United Church of Christ of the Philippines for the next year, working specifically on the island of Mindanao. My work is to be with the people and serve them, not to convert or condem. I have to raise my own funds ($10,000) in order to volunteer for the year and any donations are greatly appreciated. Donations can be made by going to www.pcusa.org/give and typing in "YAV" in the box for 'Search for Giving Opportunities'. The various positions should come up; scroll until you see "Philippines YAV Position No. 3" (should be the first one listed, but may not be) and click on it. Check and make sure that the that the Mission Volunteer number at the top of the white box is (E210503). Then just click "Give" and fill out the form. Any and all help and support for my year of volunteering is greatly appreciated!!! Thank you for your interest in my year!
