Purple patch ...indeed, I remember very well that large bruise. I can't remember whether it kicked back or not. All a bit of a blur.
Sorry about the video if you tried to run it. It seemed to upload ok but it won't play or delete so it's just stuck there now.
Leaving Singapore today. Not done a blog for Bangkok or Singapore but will pick up again for OZ. bye 4 now
Shoulder arms! That weapon must have had a kick to the shoulder like several hundred mules, all at once. Did you get bruised? I am curious because when I was with you in Ireland, in 1997, we went clay pigeon shooting at the Adare Manor hotel. I recall that you were holding the shotgun too loosely against your shoulder; and next day it looked like you had gone three rounds with Mike Tyson! Carry on blogging! ..fish..
Typical? Re: the typical phallus painting - would that be a typical painting of a phallus, or a painting of a typical phallus? It's not me that needs to know, you understand! ..fish..
Only Four Queens? Only 4 queens? We saw more than that when we were in San Fransisco together, remember? By the way, did you know that there are major road closures in Yosemite now, after a massive rock fall? Just as well we did the trip when we did, coz now you can't even reach Bridal Veil Falls. It started as a trickle of rocks on April 29, then it increased the last week of May, when it left 250 to 300 tonnes of debris. Highway 140 is buried under a 300 ft deep pile of rocks. It's now closed indefinitely, and threatens to block the Merced River! Ok, keep on blogging! ..fish..
Thank you. It was hard to write but I wanted to try and do justice to what we saw. I also gave the article it's own entry as it just seemed too frivalous to mix with other things
Squatting Love the Blog and most of all I love the pic of the Pigs in transit, you should have that blown up and put on your wall when you get home...
Enjoy the rest of your travells aye.
Capricorn One Remember that movie - Capricorn One? It was about a faked Mars mission. Now I make no accusations but that Arab headgear looks suspiciously like the one I bought at "Uptown Girl" in Bournemouth! As-salaam-alaikum, effendi! >
Yeah, another one for you When you had a company car for that estate agent and we all went quad racing and I went "what's the point out the window" to that bloke that told us off for shining on the pebbles as we arrived and he ended up ramming the car and blocking us in with a JCB. Nice
Pirates! Loving your work Matty! But then you know I always have...!
My only comment is that of "iron pirates!" I'd like to see you digging those from the soles of your boots! As I sell near on 200 kilos of the stuff a week I can confidently tell you it's "pyrite!" Ha....you're never to old to learn...x
Look forward to the next installment soon! Hi Becks.x
The Road Less Travelled Hey, young dude, take on the roads where the tarmac suddenly comes to an end. I seem to recall you encountered one in the New Forest, in England, some years ago - only then you were driving a Porsche! Pip pip - tally ho! ..fish..
Dob dob dob! I remember dobs! They were the 1 x 1 pieces weren't they? Very useful for building chimneys and stuff, but why would a red dob turn up in the Golden Triangle? Oh - and can I get together with you guys wherever you are gonna be in August please? ..fish..
The Opium/Tobacco Legend So, Thai men don't go down then....?
And how's the detox going? Will we get photos of that too? I'm still missing a red dob from my Lego hospital circa 1978. Let me know if it turns up.
Weirdo........
xx
Red Rose Hotel I checked it out!! No way man. I couldn't sleep in those rooms. The photos alone gave me a headache. But they do come with your very own karaoke machine. And a washing chair........What is a washing chair? Is it a bit like the "quiet room, or.........not" that Dirk got offered by the concierge of a hotel in Hamburg? Turns out that a room that isn't quiet comes with company, and the hotel were quite happy to book her for you. : )
Kings, Spiders and Emperors (sorry, that was the only reference I could think of to marbles, the worst thing being that my head is currently stuck in Dutch...and I had a great little black marble when I was at Summerbee. Always wondered what happened to it....)
Anyway, I am so jealous!! I wish I was there too. Well, you know that already. Although would I be able to resist the temptation to try and seduce a monk - just to see if I could..?? But I loved reading your comments and the photos are great. Keep the Blog up if you can, especially next year! I'm so looking forward to seeing you in August.
Lots of love xxxx
