The Loretto Chapel Staircase
Its so lovely. I heard it was built by ST. Joseph. I was wondering how did you come about this information. And where can I go to find out more about this ST. Joseph on the internet. And do you know if he did build this staircase for the chapel? Did he build any others? In Galveston Texas, there is a very old house, that has a staircase built very close to this one. However it has rails. I know that rails are now on this staircase. My daughter and son-in-law, and grandson visited this church, this week. I am fasinated by all old church's. And now I am wanting to know more about the person who built it.

I'm jealous - make sure you head on to Taos - There is a ski resoirt there too, not far out of town - might be cool for bars and atmosphere this time of year. It was shut when we went! Enjoy

Be it ever so humble . . .
So welcome home, travellers! It will be great to see you again and sup from a deep glass till the small hours, while we talk about your travels. Yes, it will be so good to see you again - but, oh, how I will miss reading your blogs and your wonderful pictures. Out of all the pictures you have shown on here - 757 at the last count - I have actually found a favourite for my desktop. It is also a very recent one. See if you can guess what my favourite is. I'll reveal it later, and I'd also be interested to hear what other people's favourites are. > ..fish..
