Livin' the dream indeed!! Howdy!! Got a little behind but had time to catch up today. Reading them all in a row, you realize how many of your entries begin with sadness to be leaving BC...no wonder you're headed that way. I LOVED reading your descriptions of your experiences with the people and the games. What an energy to have experienced daily...it was absolutely dripping off you. So happy for you and thanks for spreading the excitement!
Moments to remember Having looked at the photo's from last time, and reading the excitement, makes me wish I were there. These are moments you'll always remember, even if the memories are blurred by the excitement of it all. It's great to hear that the Gypsy in you is having such a great time. I know that you'll always be moving on, and always looking for more adventures. I look forward to hearing all about your adventures in person. You're one of a kind Schazz :)
Wicked pics baby! Wish I was there with you :)
So happy to see your smiling face and know that you are having such a good time.
Big hugs and take care you!
WOW I can't imagine the world you have become a part of. It's makes me excited just reading about it. What an incredible experience. 17000 condoms huh? Guess we know why those athletes are in such good shape ;o)
Herstory Who better to be a part of history than you, the person who fully appreciates their role in it. What an honour! The sights your eyes have seen in the past year...oh my...mountains and oceans and hostels galore! Canada's happy to have to back!
Go for the gold! Hey you!! Happy to see the blog up and running and looking forward to reading the incredible experiences to come. How much fun I will have saying "my friend rubbed that person"! Whilst I watch our athletes. So proud of you wifey!!
YAAAAAY YOU I'm so excited for you. That's awesome that you're part of the first team to do this. Make sure you destroy some of the opposing teams muscles without them knowing okay? hehe.
have fun and take it all in. That's sooo so exciting.
YAY BLOG! I was just saying that I missed your blog updates. You must've overheard me whilst passing through Ontario. Good luck in Whistler, and hope to see you in March. Time to get some Scotch that hasn't left the country.
christmas cards saying from england Yes I am looking for a Christmas card that says, Wshing you a Merry Christmas from England. I found one last year to send my son and daughter in America but for the life of me can't remember where I purchased it.
Mant thanks, Barb
Voulez-vous couchez avec moi???? Old Paree huh? I guess you can take the girl off the farm but NEVER get the farm out of the girl. Glad to see you writing and having more adventures, luv. Also nice to know you're out of the hostel and have something to call your own...and several irishmen's. This may throw me into some sort of alternate dimension but I'm gonna comment on a comment...just a big fat ditto to Gill's entry about "love song". I love you like crazy wifey and we're behind you no matter what. Missing you.
Welcome Back Paris is nice, but I prefer some of the smaller towns. If you have a chance to see Vimy, I highly recommend it. It's quite a place and somewhere that all Canadians should see.
Parle-tu francais? Je me demande, parle tu francais? Maybe you do now you have been to Paris? Hope it was really good. Are we seeing you for Easter, it will be a full house all 6 Anthonys here so it should be fun, and of course CHOCOLATE!!!!
Stick to it :) Schazz, no matter where you go in life, your friends will always be there with you. The key is to do what you love, and be where you feel you belong. Your friends and family get to still share in your adventure by reading your blog, seeing your photos, and chatting to you either online or on the phone. I'm sure that, like me, they are all excited to hear about your travels, and I'm sure that when you decide to come back to visit, there will be a line-up waiting to receive you. Keep at it, and know that this journey is what you have been looking to for years.
Dang Universe! It always knows just how to knock you straight on your ass don't it?? That's freakin' crazy Schaazy!! Of all the gin joints in all the world...
