Oklahoma
The IHOP in Amarillo TX has a history to it. It appeared on America's Most Wanted. I think the waitress who was mentioned/interviewed still works there. Note the curious placement of rest stops with soda machines, but no restrooms... for about 300 miles. You've got to have a bladder of steel for that drive!

These are great photos and trip plan. When in Joliet did you get to see the inside of the Joliet Jewel, the Rialto Theater had a stunning inside from 1926. Have fun drive safe.

Did the highway overpasses around the St. Louis Arch give you guys any problems? A lot of people get lost going through there.

Hi, Hope all your plans are set and please send a map showing all the trip with the different stops. I will advice for you to put also contact in which people can call you on the road. There is a very nice internet radio ( african internet radio). Try to see if you can have it because it is easy to " dedicace" music and send message. All the best!!!!
