Easter, and time for the much-anticipated visit to Oz of Steve, Vicky, Ryan and Libby (Sandra's brother, sister-in-law, nephew & niece). After a few days in Canberra, we headed off to Cairns in tropical north Queensland to see crocodiles, rain-forest and the reef... It did rain, rather a lot - which perhaps could have been anticipated, due to the 'rain forest' - but it was hot - above 30 degrees most of the time, and the heavy showers didn't last too long. We went to Karanda - a small town up in the rain forest and walked along the rainforest walkways looking at the weird plants and scary insects, to Port Douglas and the beautiful Four Mile Beach, and saw crocodiles at Hartley's Crocodile Park - the crocodile attack show was particularly good!
