YEAH! The Johnsons Are Back! I know this is a bitter sweet homecoming. But all of your friends and family as so excited to have you back with us after all these years.
What an adventure. But all adventures come to an end. . . so that we can have other adventures.
Your years aboard the RumRunner will be with you and shape who you are for the rest of your lives.
I'm just happy to have you back.
:)
Thanks Thanks for all the beautiful stories and pictures that you have shared on your great adventure. Though I have missed seeing you, I am so happy to see this dream fulfilled and come to an end. I am looking forward to seeing all of your blogs organized in a book; should be a best seller. Love you two and look forward to seeing you sometime this summer after your safe journey home.
Bahamas Hello
I have been following your adventures for a while now and am a fellow sailor. Looks like your new land life will be pretty nice too. I am wondering about internet in the Bahamas. We plan to cruise in the Bahamas all winter but both of us work on the internet and need access each day. Can you tell me what you use while sailing there?
we will miss the island adventures... We have been following you since the beginning, and will miss the blog entries and the great photos. I am imagining Kona living the land-lubbers dogs life, except his "toy" basket full of conch shells, instead of tennis balls and bones!
I loved your photos and post from the Bahamas! Especially of "Kona the salty dog!" Too cute! My blog is looking for travel photos, reviews, etc, to share. I'd love to post that photo of Kona, if it's something you'd like to share with fellow travelers. We always give photo credit, of course! If you have the time, check out the blog at dirty-hippies.blogspot.com, or email me at dirtyhippiesblog@gmail.com. I look forward to reading about your next destination!

Beach stay in Florida or Bahamas We are looking for a beautiful beach and a cottage, or room, on one for about five days. We prefer seclusion to crowds.
We are interested in the Bahamas or Florida's Atlantic Coast. We do have a car but not a boat.Any reccommendations?
Amazing That trip sounds amazing. It sounds like there is alot to do in the Spanish Wells whether it be fishing, hanging out on the beach, spending time with family or friends, and even playing golf. The pregnant manatee living in the Spanish Wells seems quite facinating. I think it was a great thing that the whole community pulled together to help feed and take care of her through this period in her life. I thought that was very thoughtful and kind of people. Going somewhere as simple as the dentists office in Eluthera is a long journey from the Spanish Wells but was awsome that you seemed to make good use of the time and have tons of fun! This sounds like a beautiful and fun place to visit and i would love to go sometime!
Spanish Virgins
Just had an e-mail from a friend that was taking a charter to the Spanish Virgins. Not having heard about the SVI, I tried my luck on Google and thank you Jen and Jay for sharing your delightful discription of this quaint and charming, quiet, restful spot in paradise.
Rum Runners of lore were some of the best sailors on the seas. They had to outrun, outwit, and outsail the navy in order to make their spoils. We are proud to follow in the traditions of the past Rum Runners; to sail in the same waters, to find protected anchorages and friendly ports, as well as to enjoy some of the best rums the Caribbean has to offer- yar!
Let me introduce you to the crew of the Rum Runner; I’m Jen and do most of the blogging. But my life wouldn’t be complete without my husband Jay by my side. And as always we have our trusty companion Kona, the Salty Dog. We have b... full info
